- Motorcycke Camping Adventure, Hammock Without Trees?! Day 2 on my ride to Trans Euro Trail Norway. Packed up my KTM 790 Adv R with the Mosko Moto Reckless R80 and the Backcountry 40 Duffle with gear for at least 10 days on the trail. First real ride with the NEW @adventurespec Supershirt as well in the layering system. Had to improvise and set up my Amok Draumr hammock without trees, like a tent with a tarp pole and the bike as support.

Don’t worry about a lack of ride video. There is enough interesting content to make it worthwhile. Good idea to interview some campers and fellow riders as people on holidays are in a good mood and happy to talk to you.
Thanks DKW! I had a great chat with the van lifers in the morning, one of them was a chef and had a great kitchen in the rear of the van as many, but man, the ingredients! The baby's slept well phew, and so did I 😂🙌. Finally my friend, I have done what I have promised You earlier ...and this with a great friend. Coming up later when this series are done. 💪❤️🙌

Haha, thanks. I could imagine that i can improve on alot of cooking. All tips are welcome 👌. I had a side mission on this trip and that was to bring all grocerys needed for all meals from start, for like 8 days meals. It had to be able to be stored in the packing and not cold. No excuse for not making pasta al dente 🤌🏻, but fun experiment. 💪🤠🔥

Spot on Günter! We want out there again, into the wild and just have a great time. This is fun, when editiding a video with musik in some parts just to get the viewer in a mood, the reality out there is engine sound 10h a day and then the beauty of the sound from wind, forest, the campfire, beercan, stove and water. 💪🤠🔥

I always think I should have done something different, no worried we should be happy with the adventures we do 👌video is a hobby that is nice to fine tuned and tweak with the material captured. You have great plans comming season. Capture it!

Enjoying watching your journey into Norway Mattias, it looks every bit as nice as Sweden. I would love the bacon and eggs but normally when travelling through foreign lands I like to try what the locals have for breakfast. I wonder what is a typical Norwegian breakfast?
A typical Norwegian breakfast is sandwiches. as lunch as well. But things changes and Norwegians go international 😂🙌. They like egg&bacon as much as we all do and as well oatmeal. I stopped in a cabin with breakfast at the 3rd day and I got a typical Swedish breakfast or Scandinavian. Sandwiches, boiled eggs, yogurt (or sour milk) and coffee. Thanks for your kind words, I had problems to like this episode myself but this is what I got out of it. I had a blast on the trails though so I was happier than what could be seen here. on Instagram there are more photos, there are a nice part missing in the video since I had drained batterys...
Hello friend - it's bacon for breakfast, but my wife only allows it once a week. As for no trees, I use Tensa Outdoor "Solo". I also have a Tensa 4 - but find it heavy for the bike. Cheers!

The family with this two canoes where you stoped and eat was probably the same family that slept at the same place as me on my first night.
A father, mother a teenage son (early teenage) and a younger son maybe in 5 or six years age. Nice setup with the hammock 👍

Nice trip and great treeless set up!I will try this with telescopic walking pole so don,t need to take a tent as well.In S Europe its way too hot for a tent now.Lovely scenery.

Snygg och smart uppsättning av hammocken och tarpen. Maten såg också god ut, alltid gott med varm mat när man är på rull. Ha det bra där ute.
Tack! Haha, jag tyckte att maten definitivt ser tråkigare ut än vad den smakar och det beror på att jag gjorde et test denna resa. Jag brukar vilja stanna och köpa lite färska ingredienser var dag normalt och göra något gott. Denna gången packade jag enligt fjällvandrarstil, saker som klarar sig i evigheter i ryggan och gjorde mat på det. Nu kan jag det och låter det vara till vandring, i huvudsak iallafall. Det samma, ha det gott där ute 🤠🔥😁🙌

Haha, France is one of my absolute favorite countrys to travel in. Done that both in work but foremost with motorhome and some in the Alps with motorbike. Just love France and as well your great pastries, breakfasts and the best dinners. France has so much to experience and are perfect prepared for tourism. The tyres are Motoz Desert, tubeless in original dimensions.
Great video Mattias, I see you younare no longer using the 22L stinger bag on the R80 and have gone for the duffel bag.
Are you using the 30L or 40L duffel, from its large size I would say its the 40L.
I'm thinking of doing the same, but was wondering how you are finding the duffel?

Thanks Wayne! Yes it is the Duffle 40. Mainly because my 3 seson/winter sleepingbag needs the volume. With the summerbag i'm fine with the Stinger 22. I have seen some that still use the original R80 Beavertail and a drybag from Amazon that open in both ends like the 40 Duffle. That seems smart. But the 40 Duffle is a great stand alone bag and works as a backpack. Heavy dusty and super robust and with that it comes in with a high weight. 30 or 40 Duffle is hard to choose between. I could have gone with either. The thing is that I have bags in the 30l range but not 40. That made my choise.
Enjoyable video - well done. Is there a rating on the trails? Those roads looked fine for a heavy/large adv bike, one concern I’d have with something like a GS would be to run into technical trails..
Thanks! The current TET Norway is very easy. You can take the GS and ride 2up. This is for the views and the wild.

Thats a great statement, thats why I also love egg&bacon both for evening diner and breakfast I just add onion in the pan for dinner. These are my glasses, with transition, best to wear them if I want to see. but with that said I actually see (OK) good enough without them, hard time to read the KTM instrument though without them nowadays 🙈😂. Happy trails!

Thanks Joe! My 790R has to few Km's on the clock. Only 18K... But is is working like a clock, no problems so far. Changed chain, sprockets and rear brake pads after this trip. Should have been done earlier 👀😁. Lets se what she brings up att the 30K service, no sign though on anything significant and she gets a great share of throttle.

Aren’t you afraid of your bike tipping over by heavy winds? Since it’s parked right next to you hammock on the ground?
Thanks! I hope the series will grow on You since at least the ride only got better 💪❤️. No I parked the bike in reasonable leeway and as well in distance, so if it would fall it could not reach me. I could even improve by parking the bike with the "nose" towards the hammock. Very important to plan for what happens if it falls. Great comment!

Finnskogen såg ju nice ut….men vad var det för roddbåtar de andra kom med? För visst rodde de fast att båtarna nästan såg ut som kanoter?
Och nu fattar jag vilka små skogsvägar TET handlar om 😁👌🏼
Det var vanliga kanoter och Finnskogen är fin på båda sidor om gränsen, helt åtkomlig med bil där jag stannade och åt åtminstone, men jag trillade ju in på ett mindre vägnät. Ett fint stopp på väg in i Norge eller som resmål i sig för en långweekend. TET kan både bestå av helt farbara vägar (mestadels), men också ej farbara med annat än motorcykel eller 4X4. Vi som MC-kollektiv håller lederna uppdarade och skruvar på dem allt eftersom vad vi erfar längs rutterna. PÅ många TET ute i södra europa eller Östeuropa är det inte farbart alls med annat än offroadfordon.

Hi, great to see You here again! This is the most common question on my videos 😂. It is a non branded 0,3 liter termos that I bought at ICA a Swedish grocery store chain. This color seems to be discontinued for some years ago and as well one with "KTM colors that I have, but they are still selling them in black at every ICA store!

Yes I have the Adventure Spec Singletrack jacket since last summer and as well the Mongolia jacket and pants. Since this summer and latest trips I also use the Supershirt from AS, wich I really like. Great layering system together with the Singletrack jacket. No I will not follow the Nomads on their cool trip to Turkey, would love too and I think I actually have the time. Both are a great breakfast for the road, I had actually wanted some egg&bacon on this trip because it was cold mornings in the highlands. Actually easier to clean the pan as well after egg&bacon.

Tack! Platsen 6 min in i filmen ligger i Finnskogen. Kan det ha varit Bograngen och sjön Letten? Set ligger iallafall norr om Rottneblikk hauka. Jag är osäker på om man kan stå där med bobil eller om det bara är ett friluftsområde. Jag minns inte om jag såg någon bobil. Kanske? Man får tälta där iallafall det ör grusvägar som leder dit. Jag såg någon bil parkerad en bit ifrån. Det var tillåtet att köra där iallafall. 9 min in i filmen, på den platsen var det tillåtet med husbil iallafall.
