Came out right around the same time that Elvis' version was released, but just by coincidence from my understanding. It's a unique take on the record but somehow is missing the uniquity of the Elvis version.
Yep, Presley again owns another song.... Haley had been losing his fan base because after Elvis and Little Richard, "Rock" singing was forever defined as something Haley was incapable of. He probably went back to capture country fans..who knows??

On You Tube, he sings a cover of Chubby Checker's "Lets Twist Again" in Spanish. In 1965, they returned to the U.S. as there was revived interest in 50s Rock 'n Roll.

Not as good as the Elvis version. Sounds more like Dean Martin's early 50s version..
