In the original animated video for the song the characters didn’t move their mouths to the words instead they used very expressive body language! I super recommend checking out Tom Cardy’s channel to see the original version! They did it so well in this video!

@@PoemsofaGirl Although I respect the attempt at accuracy, maybe a mixture of both would be less awkward. Doesn't even have to be lip-sync, just opening their mouth from time to time would help. Have them sealed shut make's the viewing experience a bit weird. But then again this song is all about being uncomfortable at a date lmao.

Montaigne is more stable here than in the original, the cosplay turned out to be kinder, but probably missed the touch of madness... More active facial expressions of both characters would have made this clip just perfect 👌
