This video shows EXACTLY why you NEVER hide in a school gym during a tornado. There are so many schools out there who use gyms as their designated storm shelters, which I've for many years spoken heavily against after seeing a similar outcome in videos of what happened to a school gym during the Joplin MS tornado. Another terrible place that is commonly used as a storm shelter in public schools are hallways, which also is a TERRIBLE place to be. Hallways become violent wind tunnels with shooting debris, which will obviously lead to great injury/death. I have worked for three different school districts and each one of them have the poor tornado designated areas I've mentioned. It's a shame that there isn't better thought put into where tornado shelters should be.

They put us under warning at 1:30am last night. Me and 2 other workers had to get all 500 guest down from 10 floors to our safest zone in the hotel. Fortunately the tornado never hit us. Our conference center roof is like a gym roof. Which is half of the space

I've tried telling my kids school that it's not safe to use the new gym as their main storm shelter. 3 of it's sides face outside. They've a basement and could've expanded it with funding they had gotten. Even tho it's a brand new gym, I don't feel like it's safe. I told them my story of escaping a gym as a tornado hit it. Glass shards falling from the windows along with the hail and rain with strong winds. It's not a place to take shelter!

Our public building are made of sticks compared to the those constructed in the beginning of the 20th century. And compared to earlier times in Europe where stone was used. Roofs would come off, but buildings would not have been leveled. These days our buildings are built with stick lumber and thin metal verticals, for the strength of movie sets. A tornado topples our structures like a house of cards. Contractors build for a look of permanence, but short-lived structural integrity.

The frame was good, but the sides and roofing need some worķ in future builds. Brick walls aren't good. They tend to fall inward as these did. There isn't a whole lot that can stand in a direct hit except for under ground facilities. Maybe they need to consider under ground wings for schools. A trap door in every classroom.

As the climate heads into greater extremes globally, how can we best deal with future climate crises?
The short answer is that we cannot deal with them unless we take care of nature's inner balance.
We live in a tightly-closed and interdependent system in which everything boomerangs back to us. While living in such a system, we need to reconsider what we want and think, and how we treat each other, because our human connections are the primary influence on how nature responds to us.
It is common to think that climate is dependent on factors outside of us-whether it be balances between heat and cold in the environment, or the effects of various kinds of pollution we emit-because we lack a complete picture of how our attitudes to each other bring about the strongest responses from nature toward us.
No creature distorts nature the way that we people do. And it is not simply a matter of switching to renewable energy sources, electric cars and the like; it is a matter of how we relate to each other.
If we truly wish to witness more balance throughout nature and not have to deal with all kinds of cold waves and other natural disasters, then similarly to how we have electricity, water and gas meters in our homes, we should also have meters that count how much evil we emit into the world from our negative attitudes to each other. What I mean is that if we could feel the extent to which we emit negative forces into the world, which negatively ricochet back to us, then we would wish to change this negative driver within us. We would want to switch it to a drive that makes our human connections positive, and which harmonizes us with nature.
In simple terms, when we get up in the morning, we should first and foremost consider what we need to do in order for all people to have it good. Developing such an attitude is not so simple, yet we will need to seriously work on it as we head into the future. A life of increasing blows from nature or a life of peace and harmony depends on the extent to which we impact a shift in our attitudes to each other-from negative to positive.

And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
People will say that Mount Zion, Heavenly Jerusalem, is just another religion. When you are the children of the world, your knowledge comes from what you see and hear in the world. Fleshly people love all sorts of lies. If you are a part of the children of God, your spirit will tell you are as a seed and need to grow in understanding the things of God.
The words of God are not made up by humans; It was written by prophets of God from Israel. The Lord God met them face to face with great signs and wonders. In the days of Moses, He split the sea. During the physical times of Lord Jesus, He raised Lazarus after three days in the tomb. In the late 1960s, the children of Israel came back to their country after they were scattered for thousands of years. Then six Arab countries gathered to fight them. The Lord of hosts, Lord Jesus, came and defended Israel. They defeated Arab countries in six days of war.
I will tell you what has been foretold in the words of God. Mount Zion is the beloved city of the Lord Jesus Christ. What is the work of it in this last day and why is Lord Jesus Christ very zealous of her? It is a place where He shall stand at His coming to meet His people, and a place where the children of God learn about holy life. Righteous and holy life means obedience to the laws and commandments or the ways of God. You cannot see the Lord Jesus unless you are holy.
    Isaiah 64:5
You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned- In these ways we continue; And we need to be saved.
He placed it in Israel, but He took it from them after they rebelled against His counsel and crucified Him. The Holy Father placed it on the east part of the earth, Negros island Philippines. It is the only island in the world that has the shape of a man's foot. Isaiah called it a place of feet of God.
    Isaiah 60:13
And I will make the place of My feet glorious.
    Matthew 21:43-45
Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder. Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them.
Mount Zion has been desolate for thousands of years now. It is like a mine of gold buried underneath. Now the set time has come to favor her. Lord Jesus Christ will rebuild it again, and His people who are the children of Israel and children of Zion along with those who join them will take refuge in it.
    Isaiah 14:32
What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord has founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.
Once Mount Zion is rebuilt, Lord Jesus Christ will destroy all the powers, authorities and governments of the Gentiles. These natural disasters are sent to destroy the kingdoms of the world. He will give their wealth and lands to His people. They will live in peace and prosperity forever. They will no longer work for anyone, go to schools nor war. Blessed are children of Israel and children of Zion; They are scattered, lost, and suffered in the world of Gentiles for the sins of their ancestors; Like the children of Israel who were led by Moses to the promised land, the Lord Jesus Christ will do the same for the children of Zion. Mount Zion is their promised land.
    Psalm 102:13-17
You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come. For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favor to her dust.
So the nations shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory. He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, and shall not despise their prayer.
Lord Jesus had me write a book titled: 'The Only Way to Escape Death and Hell' by Gabriel, an angel of the Lord---Maria Riah. I hope in Christ the Lord, it will be published sometime this year. It will guide His people to the path of understanding of the words of God and tell you what to expect at the end of times. Remember, the end of the world is only for the disobedient ones; It is like a man falling into the bottomless pit. His suffering has no end. To the children of God: The end of time is the beginning of the new world. It is like a pregnant woman who is in labor. As soon as she sees her child, she forgets all the pain.
Lord God of hosts, Holy Father
    Lord of hosts, Lord Jesus
    The Spirit and the Bride
Gabriel, an angel of the Lord
    Mount Zion, Heavenly Jerusalem

Repent and turn away from your wicked ways. Jesus is coming back soon and only he can save your soul.

Too many people in this thread are conflating good construction with God’s will and power. Yes He is almighty; but that is no reference to constructing homes and building in a manner that prevents them from being easily ripped out the ground or blown over by winds that it should not have been. God gives us common sense and intelligence as the dominant species to do things in a manner for our betterment. Let’s not blame God for crap construction and greedy companies that didn’t allow their employees a chance to go home in time to be safe or are opting not to pay or reopen after this disaster.

Are there any organizations that we can donate to that will guarantee that no Republicans, Conservatives, or Religious nuts will receive any of our donations?
I'd rather help the people of TN who get shafted by the GOP and Conservatives.
The Republicans and Conservatives can just grab them ol' bootstraps and exercise some personal responsibility. After all, you don't wanna be socialists now do you?!

I have commented 2 years and I still confirm that I solved the global warming problem.
From what I have researched and analyzed The violence is increasing than it has been every year.
    if
UN approves me to solve global warming problem, I will fix the problem ASAP. There is enough information I have to prove to everyone that scientific approaches and solutions to global warming can be restored to normal.
