This song is super groovy and simple, in fact there are only 3 chords in this entire song that repeat themselves. Qotsa's 2007 album Era Vulgaris features this song alongside other great tunes like "Sick Sick Sick", 'I'm Designer" and "Suture Up My Future".
You don't want to know how many takes it took me to get the solo, that quick middle part was tough to get through 😅

This is a song for me that in original form means so much. It is a key song for a key moment in my life that I repeatedly remind my buddy about ( who now lives back in Germany).

For me, it helps to figure out what needs to happen on the instrument at a certain part of the text. For this song, that's pretty doable. 'You' falls together with a chord switch and if you count to 4 in one bar, "I wan-na make it wit chu" starts on 2 and every syllable of that sentence starts on the count, up to the 3 of the next bar. Aside from that, a lot of the intricate changes happen outside of the singing in most QOTSA songs. Josh does all the little flairs when he's not singing.

@@heleneverett8067 you can actually just practice stretching on your fretboard without playing as well sometimes, this way you gradually stretch out the muscles :)
