    I love the National Currency! Got some harder towns to find not that long ago. Athena, OR and Honolulu, HI. The Athena $20 I picked up was the first one I picked up, and there are four known from 1929.

      Awesome! I have family in Bend Oregon and lucked out from an old time collection. I was able to score one from there for a steep price but it is what it is. I love the Hawaii nationals. Still wanting to add one to my collection. Thanks for watching my friend, don’t forget to hit that sub button if you haven’t already to catch the latest vids!

    I learned!! Awesome presentation, my friend. The differences among “National” were well explained. So cool that you have the first three. I think you also have the hometown and the places you’ve been sets going if not mistaken. 👍 Keep on with your amazing collections 👊

    Nice looking notes. It seems the smaller town banks are more expensive and harder to get

    • @silversurfer1986
      @silversurfer1986  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This can be true and often is in Nationals. Mainly because the smaller banks issued less notes and thus supply is slim. Anyhow, thanks for watching and commenting as always my friend!~

    Those notes you have there are awesome. I have managed the first five chapters. Six might be a tuff charter. I think a few known from Syracuse New York only had large issue.

    • @silversurfer1986
      @silversurfer1986  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya originally I thought of doing the first 10 charters. However after researching it there are a couple show stoppers within that. I’ll probably just stick to these first 3. Thanks a bunch for watching and commenting!

      @@silversurfer1986 charter 4 and 5 might be a different type or denomination but you can certainly get them. Then it's like you said going to be a few you can't get.

    Very nice . I really like these old notes . You hv an amazing collection.I ordered a chief today . Not as nice as your 25 but I settled with a 15 . Still not cheap . Had a bison in the cart but I didn’t like the sellers reviews so I changed my mind .

      Yes sir! Anytime. I agree, it's actually become a little thing I've been doing when traveling. I'll look for the remnants of National Banks. Some there are only an archway remaining, while others still stand and have long been converted into something else. Anyhow, thanks for watching bud!

    Really great job giving an overview on the Nationals
    I didn’t realize there was quite so many ways to collect these so that’s pretty cool.
    Keep your eyes open for a Juneau note I’ll save up for the next 10 years to buy it haha

    • @silversurfer1986
      @silversurfer1986  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dude I originally planned on doing a 50 capital set. However, Alaska is pretty much the show stopper. Haha. There’s only 3 national banks from your state, Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks. ALL are VERY expensive and housed in big time collections that ain’t going anywhere anytime soon. Ha Anyhow, ya bro lots of ways to collect them. I’m blown away daily by the FB group and the ways people put together sets. Thanks for watching!
