When Jisoo removed the pearl necklace she felt suffocated and overwhelmed by her surroundings, career, life, relationship etc, so as time went by, Jisoo gains composure and confidence, every obstacles coming her way are not as suffocating and overwhelming. Hence, how she gently removes the black choker, unlike how she hastily removed the pearl necklace back then. She has evolved. Just like how FLOWER bloomed 🌹

Jisoo was voted most beautiful female Kpop artist 2018, 2019, 2020 and by 2021 was known to the rest of the world and was certified most beautiful woman on Earth 2021, 2022, 2023. It is OK to be hypnotized by her beauty and elegance. She has earned it. It does not translate well to English which is why lyrically it seems kind of off to us. Basic meaning of the song is - you trampled my flower ("You trampled my one and only Lilac" according to the lyrics) so I broke up with you leaving nothing behind but the scent of a flower. I will get over you, but you will never get over me.
