    There are so many ills in the world that could actually be solved if the government would allocate funding for public defenders.... and for public schools, and for mental health. Yes, it is a disgrace. It is a crying shame.

    Well said, and now that prosecutors receive $40.00 a month from each person on probation, they have a direct financial incentive to pressure an innocent person to plea.
