Saw this a long tme ago but i dont own a c8 😂😂. If i did, everyone would go crazy. And i know a crazy widebody kit is being built right now..once its dont its gonna look better than the z06 and zr1 ..trust me i know a lot of parts for cars.
what did you do for the afm valves?
Used the Paragon Simulators. Also, completed a valve relearn on the NPP valves before the first startup.
In theory the Z06 carbon fiber diffuser will fit on the Stingray with no problem.
I have a Stingray and no valves on my exhaust. So if I did this to my C8 Stingray would I just make sure the valves remain open?

HOLD UP FOLKS. A pipe designed to exhaust a 5.5 litre engine and a 6.2 litre engine are different diameters? Back pressure is a BAD THING for power for ANY four cycle engine, and more or less could damage your engine. Where have you been after making the greatest aftermarket discovery this side of a Novitech Ferrari with your Z06?
The Z51.. I think has the same DIA as the Z06 per LENGENFELTER

Goon squad beat you to it. They've got one on their Corvette. They have A ZO 6 diffuser on the back. and A Z.O-6 front bumper cover.
Yes, I watched their videos. They went with an aftermarket exhaust without any valves. Matt and I did this as a project to see how the OEM exhaust wound mount up and sound on the Stingray and wanted to maintain the NPP valve function. Wish there was a way to incorporate the AFM valves into the project.
JORTS is actually the first Stingray conversion.
Who/What is JORTS? Have not seen that one. Was it done using the OEM Z06 Exhaust?

@@RWDC8ZI would have to ask Rob or Jeremy. The front & back bumpers are fully Z06 now. And It's been like that for a while.
@@EC145PilotJorts is the Paragon Shop car that has the Procharger Mat reviewed. With the Blue TE37s. I see you're a Helicopter guy with your name. No hate towards Helicopters but the only cool Helicopters imo are the Blackhawk & Chinook. Iowa used to have F16s but the White House moved them because people didn't like the sound of freedom.
@@Cars-N-Jets Flew Blackhawks for 18 years, retired in '95 then EMS for 22 years. Fairly certain Paragon did use their exhaust. We did this one using the Z06 OEM exhaust, just to see if it was practical and sounds good. Gotta say, now that I've added tips, it sounds good, as long as you are in Sport or Track mode on the exhaust.
