Why do guys feel entitled to making a woman feel unsafe because she doesn't dress to fit his standard of modesty? Women have been conditioned to seek approval from men on how they dress. I don't dress for anyone, I don't dress to make anyone comfortable or to expel sexual fantasies from men's mind. It should not be my duty to take care of a men's sexual urges. I'm not saying if I wear a deep cut top that shows cleavage, nobody can look but I'm saying your starring continously at me (intentionally keeping your eyes on me and refusing to take them off) already has me afraid that you could cause bodily harm to me or sexually abuse me or even rape me. That is what the society we live in tells us. Don't you dare upset them, don't you dare go against them or else you accept to be treated like trash. The point is you may not have bad intentions towards me but that doesn't mean the next person is like you. You're not entitled to put me in that mental position where I fear for my life or limb because I didn't dress the way you'd approve.
Before I say anything, let me mention that I love you guys originality and zero pretence. Not that we like bad guys. The thing is, bad guys are quicker to approach girls they like. Infact you might be so sure that a church guy likes you but he'll never approach you, you go wait tire. So if the bad guy that is freer approaches you with romantic intentions and maybe you like him small, you'd most likely accept him na.
Ladies just wear this to feel appreciated. Personally I wear provocative clothes to feel in control. When my hubby keeps looking I will be like " that's it guy" am still on top😂🤣
