Badd Medicine here and its KGF reaction time! Lets start off by saying Rocky is a fun charismatic character! This is our first movie watch from India. Action Packed and a fun ride. Not sure it needed to be 2.5 hours long, but still a good movie. The movie dates back to 1951. Here, two incidents take place; The birth of the hero and other in the Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F) they get gold. The hero is brought up in poverty. When he is very young itself he goes to Mumbai to become a mafia don. His mother's wish was to see her son rich and powerful. After being in Mumbai for some time he returns back. They assumed a fantastic cast Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Ananth Nag, Ramachandra Raju, Achyuth Kumar, Malavika Avinash. What was your thoughts on KGF chapter 1? Can anyone be able to take out Rocky?

Fun fact : guy who played garuda was the bodyguard of Yash in real life. And director saw him in Yash's home while he was narrating story.

Actually in India till we love some music within the film and few extra emotions which actually expands the movie. But this is the public demand.
Wish we could keep the music in, but it would get taken down. This already has a claim.

I noticed one thing about the hindi version is that the subtitles are not same as the original version(even some powerful dialogues were cut short). The original version has more explanation and meaning to the dialogues in the subtitles. I would suggest you guys to watch any film in it's original language(even subtitles vary from language to language), because then the movie will have more meaning to it.
That was our bad for not doing enough research. KGF 2 will be original.
I could only find the malayalam version with eng subs and even then it was so poetic and beautiful
You have to do it in hindi language , otherwise very less people will see your reaction.(indian majority speeks in hindi)

KGF is a Kannada language movie from sandalwood film industry dubbed into four other languages, you should have reacted to it in its original language Kannada so that you would have gotten the best experience.

most indian movies including blollywood and all other indian industries have movies ranging from 2 to 3 hours.....rarely we find movies less than 2 hours.....so don't expect shorter movies.

KGF 1 & 2 are event films, they were celebrated in the theatres just like a festival. I recommend you see this directors upcoming movies in theatres as the crowd is nuts and you will feel like a concert / celebration is going on. KGF 1&2 are not meant for the small screen , that is laptops/home viewership. Try to see the spectacle in theatre , next film from this director is 'Salaar' , try to go big screen on that, as such event films are best felt with the crazy crowd on the big screen . Actually No on recognized him, because no one knows him there... He is famous in Mumbai, where he grew up to become a don. Then some people knew him in Bangalore, because of his antics with Kamal and the girl and their goons... But once he goes to KGF, he is a nobody, The people there live in small villages and they have been kidnapped to work as slave labor. The guards never leave KG, so they don't know him either.
The police station scene is a flash forward, it happens after he has taken over KGF and becomes popular in the whole country as one of the biggest gangsters in India.

Sardar Uddham - Movie about Revolutionary who took revenge of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre (1919) under British Rule. Oscar worthy movie and best movie from India this year.
Andhadhun - Movie with many twist and turns it's better if you get into the movie knowing less about it. It's about a blind musician whose life flips upside down after a certain incident.
3 Idiots - One of the best movies from India. Based on Indian education system and how pressured the Asian students feel with proper blend of comedy.
