CalTopo are justly proud of what their optionally free software can do, but this Webinar starts by describing the many bells and whistles in the layer options and it is only 1.00 hours in that it gets to the meat - how to create a trail and print it out. I would strongly suggest that this webinar be redone with the meat first and only then add the bells and whistles.
Thanks for the excellent program and the excellent technique video. The presenters were in depth, succinct, and were super knowledgeable! I've been using CalTopo for years and this deepened my understanding of the tool. Thank you all.
So much of early learning in the outdoors requires a good understanding of trip planning and route finding. I'll be sending this to my friends who are starting to learn about trip basics and navigation.
