That's it, money came before merit in this case, plain and simple. I think it was better to make that fight with Izzy, I think it ended up being better for the sport and I'm sure it sold a shit ton of ppv buys. But I'm going to give you a hypothetical real quick: Take Izzy out of the equation and follow your line of logic. DDP fought Whitaker and absolutely RAN THROUGH him with a second round TKO.
