Some doll collectors use Museum Putty/Wax to hold the items in their doll houses. Seems to work great. Or you can use the possible safe Poster Putty- Sticky Tack.
You could sprinkle cloves around the baseboards, corners, and on the ceiling corners. Though, you would have to make sure the kitties do not get in the room when you are doing this. Even though the smell is unpleasing to them, if they eat it could cause liver toxicity in them. After you place the cloves, let it set for a bit, and then clean it up. Every 3 months during warmer times and you should be free and clear of all spiders. I do this in my room because man oh man there use to be spider galore in here. Also, you could get a back wheel bike mount and use it for an exercise equipment.

I think it's still the biggest in the USA. It's every fall from October-November. There's soooooo much to see, do, eat, buy, experience! 😂 Stage shows (sound and fury was my favorite adult targeted act..there's clips of them on TH-cam!), period musical acts (like pirate bands that sing SHANTIES), jousting! Our faire also has these GIANT SWINGS that like a group of people can ride on together and you're cranked high up close to the tree tops and then they let you go and you just go woooshhh back and forth in the most freaking relaxing ride ever. There's also several pubs on the property and I think they even make their own brand of mead... or at least they did at one point. hahaha And so many people dress up in garb! There's shoppees selling garb too. My brother bought a bunch of swords at trf.. a Zelda Master Sword and a giant 2 handed sword that's like taller than I am (I'm 5ft 2in)..😱 Gdbkkutbgdsvgr omg I could literally babble for ages about TRF.. LOL I'M SORRY.. I love it so much.

If you want something free I would recommend fire alpaca or medibang they are veryyy similar but medibang is a little more modern layout wise. You could also use just the Google drawing thing in Google drive if you are only using text and pre existing graphics
I agree with Eggy Leggy, Medibang and Fire Alpaca are good free programs along with Paint Tool Sai has a free version. GIMP is still an option that has been around for years. I use Medibang since I can have it on my tablet as well.
Also, spiders hate citrus and peppermint! Orange is like the cheapest essential oil, put some of that in a spray bottle with water (maybe 10 drops to a cup or two of water?) and spray that around areas you want to be in. Hope that helps!

if you wanna put the pillowcases (which I would 11/10 love to have) if you don't mind little pinpricks in the walls (easy to fil with a little filler type thing) take a sewing pin (or similar) and put it through from the inside to the back and into the wall! I hope this helps anyone looking for a solution (my sister did it for her art she did and i use it too )

You could use “museum wax” to place the calico critter stuff down. It keeps things in place but is not permanent. I have a jar of clear that I use so stuff doesn’t get knocked off my shelves. The one I have is called Ready America Museum Gel on Amazon.
Maybe you could make permanant dioramas out of the little knick knacks (like the Kiki's Delivery Service ones) so that they're easy to manage, display, and keep together. I'd totally watch a video of you making them for your art channel.

Spiders dislike eucalyptus and peppermint, I keep pieces of it around the windows and have sprayed the doorways with EO spray. 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1 1/2 cups water and around 20 drops of EO. The peppermint smells the best out of the two but the eucalyptus is the safer bet with cats just in case they lick it
