Totally agree. This was not a credible report at all. Nobody is perfect. Sure he’s made mistakes but he actually owns them too and he has done so much good and courageous work for the planet.

@@jeddak firehose of falsehood is another term for spreading disinformation, a term coined by Christopher Paul and Mary Matthews (just saw it in one of the other comments). He explains the firehose of falsehoods methods as follows (from an interview transcript dated 03/19/2021) Dr. Christopher Paul, senior social scientist of the Pardee RAND Graduate School, discusses his seminal work on the "Firehose of Falsehood" propaganda model, going through its four key components and explaining how each exploits different facets of human cognitive heuristicssee definition. He talks about the significant impact of the first-mover advantage and how ineffective refutation or what we commonly call "setting the record straight" can be. He also discusses how we judge or misjudge the credibility of information and closes by offering some messaging strategies that help counter the high volume and multi-channels of the firehose. 0:33: Dr. Christopher Paul: Yeah. So, this was in 2015 and we were looking at characteristics of Russian propaganda and we called it "the firehose of falsehood." We found four characteristics and the main reason for the firehose is that the firehose is high volume and multichannel. The Russians are employing overwhelming quantities of material on a host of different media modes and channels and sources. Second, it's rapid, continuous and repetitive. If you're not worried about fact checking, you can have the first accounts of events or non events. And if you have enough folks involved, you can run it 24 hours, keep it moving and repeat the same themes over and over again. Third, it makes no commitment to objective reality. Sometimes it's true-ish. Sometimes it's false. Sometimes it's false, but backed up with some manufactured evidence. Sometimes it's false, but consistent with things that intended audiences might think. Sometimes it's false, but presented by sources that look or seem credible. And then finally the Russian firehose of falsehood makes no commitment to consistency. They're not worried about what used to be called information fratricide, having one spokesperson contradict another. They'll quickly change from one theme or set of lies to another theme. And the story changes over time to suit the various purposes.

"Brandolini's Law" is also known as the Gish Gallop, named after Duane Gish, who was at the Institute for Creation Research. During debates against biologists, he would throw out so many false or misleading statements that his opponent wouldn't be able to refute all of them.
The irony of MSNBC accusing someone of Brabdolini’s Law. Their outright purpose is to convince you things their donors want you to think, and they keep segments to only a few minutes so you never hear details enough to have an actually educated opinion.
This is what I came to say, so glad you had it up already. Watching Gish talk is an infuriating experience, and what it really shows, oddly enough, is that by throwing many "facts" out there like that, he is really confessing that his argument has nothing. Unfortunately it (kind of) works, if only on people who don't give it a second thought. These aren't tactics that are very effective at convincing someone on the other side or even someone on the fence, but what it does do is reaffirm the beliefs of people who are already on his side and let him walk away saying he won the debate. People who are won over by that kind of argument are already predisposed to buy what he is saying. Too bad RFKJr went all whack-a-doodle, he seems to have two totally different sides but at least has done some good. (unlike Duane Gish)

@@jeddak firehose of falsehood is another term for spreading disinformation, a term coined by Christopher Paul and Mary Matthews (just saw it in one of the other comments).
He explains the firehose of falsehoods methods as follows (from an interview transcript dated 03/19/2021)
Dr.
0:33: Dr. Christopher Paul:
Yeah.

This is what I came to say, so glad you had it up already. RFK gets my vote
Anyone but Biden
When you've listened and believe false media all your life, yes, it does makes your head spin when you hear alternative information. Expand your mind and don't live in a bubble.
" Believe half of what you see, abd none of what you hear.."
Could you provide a video of such a negative interview with RFK Jr?
How dare he question the vaccine.
"It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World" was a classic '60s comedy film with stars from the silent era included.
It's on TH-cam 😊
I love it. It's been on TCM a couple of times just this summer.
This is a hit job
Sounds like this KAREN got triggered.
I worked for Bobby back in 68. He must be rolling in his grave.
I think he'd be proud of his son for not selling his soul to the globalist devil and wanting to abolish the same CIA that had him and his brother murdered.
Rolling because the Dems are abandoning the First Amendment, and proud of his son for having the courage to stand up for the truth.
I was only 7 when John Kennedy died & I cried! Then Bobby was killed, I cried even more. He was larger than life to even me--not even old enough to vote.
His son was a guest on Thom Hartmann during the Obama years. The things Jr was saying then was bizarre!
He was obsessed with the evilness of vaccines. He's nothing like his dad!
Bobby would be extremely proud of his son. Shame on you
@@Jay-pd9kc - No way, madam, he would be as ashamed as the rest of the family is.
