i've been playing archfiends for the past 3 years. It was my first deck and is , still, my favorite one. I'm rlly happy i found ur channel. Also im rlly enjoying the streams. Archfiend is a big archetype so its fun to see different builds and playstyles. Since Summoned Skull is my favorite card i play arround it, but u for sure helped me to improve some things on it. Quick clarification, Pandemonium unfortunately can miss timing with cards such as Kaiju Slumber. It's unfortunate but it is what it is! In hindsight, I'd probably take out World Legacy Succession for Skill Drain as it's far more powerful in this deck, and you rarely need to Link summon for Succession to be of much use. Anyway, which field spell do you prefer? Pandemonium or Palabyrinth??
Yeah you're right! Especially if you have Terrorking out, huge attack and negates effects which is pretty decent. Imprisoned Queen is a bit of a brick though so having three might be a bit much. I guess you could always run Trade-In though
Yeah Trade In fits well, Pandemoniun then 3x Imprisoned Queen Archfiend in GY, Terrorkig Archfiend + Checkmate, 5000 ATK then He can attack directly because of Checkmate Ouch! HAHAHA
Yeah it's fairly decent if you have all the pieces consistently. Equip a Megamorph while you're at it for an OTK. The LP maintenance cost can help to keep your LP lower than theirs
My friend and I have been making a custom Deck Build Pack set, and one of the 3 custom themes for the set is a retrain of the Chess Archfiends, complete with a new take on Pandemonium. Still brainstorming their effects, though, but I think they'll end up as a fun little casual deck.
There's so much potential Chess Archfiends for unique gameplay. I feel like Link monsters can help a lot thanks to their pointers Pandemonium needs to "always be treated as an Archfiend card" as well to help with searching I'd be very interested in seeing what you design with them!

Greetings guy, Unfortunately, my English is not that good, so Google helps out a bit here. I myself am a great archfiend collector, player and fan and have studied many cards and their rules. So I have to say right at the beginning, inform yourself for Pandemonium, which in most cases your strategy misses its timing. The last thing in history has to be the destruction so that Pandemonium takes effect, is an effect after the destruction still there you can unfortunately look for nothing with Pandemonium. But I'm looking forward to more videos from you and I am very excited about more ideas from you. The Meklord card, for example, was a great idea.

The deck has come a long way in the space of a year through constant playtesting and community feedback I'd argue it's a fairly strong deck these days, but extremely small representation. But I like how unique they are, and giving more modern decks a run for their money! What's your favourite Archfiend card out of curiosity?

Terrorking Archfiend is my favourite too! You have good taste! With link monsters Konami has the opportunity to retrain the chess fiends into link monsters for a cool thematic set of effects We'll just have to wait and see what comes out in the next few years :)
@@TheArchfiendGuy I Hope man...I'd say their biggest problem is their summoning speed....and protection of their weaker monsters (Infernal Queen and Dark BIshop.) If they had a permanent spell that prevented attack of those weaker monsters along with speeding up their monster summons then it would actually be good casually...but now its just so slow...sad too cause their die roll protection is kinda fun.
Yeah the chess fiends really are just Archfiends in name only. It's a real shame that they have almost no synergy with each other. I'd love to splash in a Dark Bishop Archfiend if I could reliably summon it along all my other stuff. As for summoning speed, they definitely need to be faster. I don't really mind not being able to spam, but the deck needs extenders.
I actually like to use Terrorking and Terrorqueen Archfiend in my personal deck, Terrorqueen I find useful when I need to overpower a big monster, combos well with terrorking to kill Blue eyes.
Terrorking Archfiend is awesome, I just hate his summoning restriction. If it was just Archfiend cards on the field, it'd be way better. In general he's fairly decent in all his stats Infernalqueen is alright but she never survives long enough for me. But the attack boost is nice, I agree!
Just realised you're the person I just dueled! Dragon Link has far too many extenders for poor old Archfiends to keep up with really Unless I get a good Nibiru or Caliga in time, then it's pretty much game over. But most decks can't keep up with DL so it's okay :D
