The Patton is Better Than the Lynx, but…

In this video I compare the Patton with the Lynx, sharing my opinions about how each wheel feels in comparison to the other and what the pros and cons are for each wheels based on my short time experimenting and writing each one. I can't speak to long-term ownerships or quirks or qualms with the wheels but I can describe how the wheels feel how they handle accelerate and overall comfort.

Make sure you get the lowering kit for the pedals on Lynx, i heard its night and day diff on stability/control. Keep it up, loving your videos \m/

I did it and it's great. Also no issues whatsoever off-Roading with the lower pedals. Also also got much bigger jump pads which is a big help, and took that stupid kickstand off because it will catch on things and it will reach out and hurt you if you have a minor fall.

Honestly i think youll really love the lynx when you get used to the wheel. Since you will be riding the streets only you may want to consider the pedal lowering kit for it as well, from what ive heard it really improves the handling and feel of the lynx and since you dont plan on hitting any stairs or rocky trails from what i can tell its probably exactly what you need to bring the lynx up to the feeling of the patton with extra power and range on top

On my Lynx, I lowered the pedals and got oversized jump pads and took that stupid kickstand off. It's a thing of beauty.

I bet it is! Nice work being bold and taking the risk to modify your wheel like that! You don’t miss the kickstand though? How do you rest the wheel?

@@EUC-NYC-GUY yeah that's a nice wheel, I don't miss the kickstand at all. I have caught it on rocks when going off steep benches at low speeds. And that caused me to crash. And it has also bruised my legs when having minor crashes at low speeds. I just lean it forward and rest it on the front handlebar and it sits fine. I also think it looks way better as that kickstand is really honky looking. The Lynx is such a beast off-road I absolutely love it.

Unless you are doing crazy jumps the progressive springs in the Lynx are pointless, it feels more like a step backwards.

Well I'm not doing jumps and I still completely disagree with you. This suspension is wonderful and I can feel it if I hit a super hard bump unexpectedly.
