- Mar-Train Heavy Haulage moving a new Doosan DX800LC-7 from Northern Excavators depot in Lisburn, Northern Ireland to Loughran Rock Industries quarry near Newtownhamilton, County Armagh. The DX800 is the first 80 tonne class Doosan in Ireland and replaces Loughrans DX700.

Greetings from Drive Doosan from Indonesia.. Doosan is solid.
I love seeing these mega moves. We had a 200,000 lb machine delivered from Cincinatti to Alabama and it took a Mack Heavy Hauler with a 96 wheel rig. It had three stingers, then the main trailer, then three more stingers behind that with a cab on the last one for the trailer steering guy. It was quite the sight. Cost us $48,000 just for the rig, not counting all the fees and permits needed. And it could only drive certain times of the day and there was only one route available. Normally a 5 hour drive, it was three days.

I think I would have set it up so I could pull out instead of backing out. It could be harder, if there was an incline lol.

This excavator was launched in month of January but it was traded by doosan south Korea. This excavator is lc -7 series

THEY REALLY NEED A TRAILER THAT CAN EXPAND LIKE THE OUT RIGGERS ON A HEAVY TOW RIG. THEN, ALL THEY HAVE TO FIGHT IS TRIP PERMITS.

It came in component parts and had to be built in the dealers yard first.

If it arrived in parts why not fit counterweight and boom at the final destination. I know they wont have proper facilities but it would halve the weight and length on the road

Can't believe it doesn't have to be knocked down to reduce weight. In the states a 450 I as big as I normally see and it sometimes is missing the counterweight
Irish roads are built with far superior materials and skilled labour and can handle heavy weights, we dont have to bother with all that American bullshit breaking machines or using 7 or 8 extra axles or dollys.
Mate in Australia we move cat D11T dozer not stripped down all on the expandable drake Trailer with a dolly between prime mover and Trailer no blocking up the machine? Just walk machine on chain it Down 👍

I move heavy equipment. I don't understand why the trucker didn't back into the lot empty, load up, and then it would be easier to pull out of yard.
Beacause the excavator has to drive on from the front of the trailer, if he reversed in, the machine would have to come out the unit, drive round the hgv, trailer and many other obsticals to get to the front, to load up.
I guess that the reason is the empty space between the bottom of the exavator and the ground is not enough. That is why they used timbers for positioning the excavation for jack-up.

mm precision movement with the Actros SLT with a Turbo Clutch.
Why do you think this SLT have turbo retarder clutch? It’s great thing but cost near 50.000 Euros...just a damn turbo retarder clutch (basicly nothing more than torque converter)

I don't agree with this new idea of bleeping in forward and reverse and also having loads of flashing lights all over equipment. I see it regularly now on sites and it's crass, nasty and annoying all this over safety bullshit.

Supposedly the white noise beepers are better in every measurable way.
@@geepuller1 To me, those bleepers sound like they have a fault like water in them. Change for the sake of change in my opinion. Rather like when they dropped the usual emergency services sirens to the screaming, sqwaking arcade game type we now have.
@@JonDingle in blind tests workers are more accurate in detecting the direction of the sound with the white noise ones especially when there are multiple sources. The noise also carries less far so its a win win, its not really debatable just stupid that it hasn't been adapted everywhere
Which is better excavator Dosan or cat, I have a Komatsu PC200-7 it is good but I am thinking about buying a new excavator.
You get what you pay for so work it out...

@@rajeshbande1136 given the length of the tracks the ground pressure is far lower than the machine weight at contact points. It will also be very dense hardwood
@@rajeshbande1136 They actually want the crush / compression, it helps hold the machine in place. And as D Hewitt pointed out, the dense hardwood doesn't compress that much.
