was just watching through when this was uploaded. Thing seems like the pinnacle of toughbooks lol. I’m impressed by the slimness and the hardware in the screen is great. I’m slowly realizing I need toughbooks in my life lol
love the toughbooks! i found a cf-30 at the thrift store a year ago, can run modern webpages almost normally running a lightweight linux distro or a BSD. very nice machines
It's a Wacom dual touch, the older kind which does not use battery pens. This uses passive pens but standard Wacom pens do not work, must be for dual touch. Older Thinkpad X60 type pens work great, I have a pen for an older Fujitsu digitizer and some HP ones like T1100 pens that work too. Pretty much the ones that arent "Active pens"
Everyone? These aren't designed for gaming. They are made to withstand extreme conditions that would destroy your favorite gaming machine. It excels in it's purpose.
@@deltatango3653 Yeah, I know. I have a toughbook… just wish there was a modding toughbook community. I live in Alaska. So trust me when I say it serves its purpose. Just underpowered.
Very nice review, I am looking for one.

I just got my hands on a G2. Waiting for the keyboard in mail later this month.
Enjoying the content and glad I found the channel
Thank you!
The G2 tablet?
Very well spec'd machine for what it is! I wouldn't mind one of these, but definitely not as portable as I'd prefer.
waht stylus is that in the back?
What style pen is compatible? I just picked one of these up and I can't seem to find any documentation on digitizer compatibility.

Honestly, the real question everyone is really curious about. How can it run games?
Like crap, mostly. Same as any other intel 6th/7th gen laptop with intel graphics.
