tbh, i'm surprised you didn't mention the first completion of muddy puddles chimps by isab. it's not a hugely impressive feat by today's standards, but in 9.0, it was probably the most incredible feat that could've been accomplished

I feel like the first ever #ouch chimps completion was honestly the single greatest event to ever happen in BTD6, and by a long shot. Nothing can really compare anymore because the community is just so good at the game now. But back then everyone was still learning, and there was no challenge editor, so it was a whole community event when someone shared a started that could actually survive starting, then different people slowly pushed it further and further
Admittedly, OUCH only became possible after 2.0, where dart monkey targeting was changed in a way that made them miss less, which let people actually get past that first few rounds of OUCH, letting it be beaten.
I think it could arguably be tied with ISAB's muddy puddles completion. I believe he was the first to do it, and it was a much bigger event. Not to mention, it's just as impressive.
Dark Castle completion was satisfying. #BUFFDARTMONKEY.
Isab's muddy puddles first ever completion was also historic.
I’d say Mackans 4 month logs run is pretty damn impressive too
I love that these feats weren't just super optimized efficiency, they required intense micro and frame perfect reactions
Just a quick little note to add: The highest round in chimps has just been beaten by 52 rounds. Mackanrules has made a video on it. That video wasn't out when this video came out, but I thought I'd mention it anyways.

My two feats that I was impressed with is Black Border insta monkey since that requires a ton of grinding and pure RNG required plus the knowledge that it was even possible in the first place was very obscure. And least cost chimps ravine, not only does the map require a very specific start but it uses Ben of all towers to complete it.
thanks 🙏🏼 I got a lot of flack for my methods but short of actually editing the game itself to have those instas I used every trick in my box to get as many crates per event as I could.
I’m retired now though, and I don’t see myself ever getting back into the game. I’ll be here on the sidelines spectating everything that happens.

The round 400 chimps guy is the same person who first posted about the quantum entanglement bug, they’re insane when it comes to that stuff.
I would add SJJ's Geraldo solo chimps. The hard part was timing the glues in rounds 28 and 30, as Geraldo has no lead popping power, so he had to line them up perfectly so the triturator could get them all at the same time.
sjb didn't do it first and the 1tc was figured out in less than a day within geraldo's release
the person who did it first goes by the name "HI" and that name is unfamiliar to like 99.99% of people so I'm not surprised this misconception still goes around
anyway it's cool, the lead rounds definately required some thought, but not on the same level as other stuff here

Think there was a Geraldo 1TC too, which makes sense since he's the only hero you continue spending cash on. Scrapyard was the map of choice cause it can pop leads in the earlygame

The only runs i didnt knew were were speedrunning every map first 1tc(i didnt knew that it was that hard) and ouch lest spent chimp(i knew about chop chop original run tho)

No mods, no cheats, just paragons, temples, and a whole lot of time stops
So r400 chimps isnt actually the record anymore. There shouldnt be a vid of it and I dont think it was posted to reddit, but in MackanRules' discord we worked out a more optimized strat than what mavs used and theoretically r500 might be possible, but the best we got so far was r448. That run ended because of some balance changes one or two updates ago.
Well you could probably demolish it anyway with the transformation bug right now...

Total chimps budget from the logs run 179305, but from the ouch run 178904. How does that work? Was the ouch run in a version where some rounds had fewer bloons?
Regrow farming in chimps can make or lose money (up to about +78,000 or -30,000 if you intentionally grind it your hardest). Regrow farming usually happens at least a little on accident and slightly varies total cash from the intended 178909. Probably worth making a vid on
