Correct, it's a master insert. And the RMX is designed as an insert FX unit. If you want to use an RMX unit for each channel separately, you would need one RMX unit for each input - connected between the output of the CDJ and the LINE IN of the mixer. (this isn't down to how the Xone mixer works, it's how it would have to be done with a Pioneer mixer too). cheers, Al

Hi guys, i'm trying to get my PX5 to output individual channels into my DAW, however the only channels that seem to be outputting from the PX5 sound card are channels 9-10. I'd really like to get each individual channel to input in my DAW, is this possible?
Hi djvoid1, Thanks for the message. USB upstream channels 1-8 route directly off the mixer’s inputs channel. So, it is possible to receive 4 stereo streams from external hardware to the computer for recording. However, it should be noted that these signals will not be processed by the mixers controls and/or FX. It was designed this way for the implementation of DVS. To ensure the audio is streaming over USB from these input channels, please ensure that the USB routing switch is set to either LN or PH depending on what input connector you are coming in on. We regret to inform you that it is not possible to run the DB4 with Mac latest OS and hardware release. Active support for this product now ceases at Catalina with driver v3.49. FYI, this driver will not run on Big Sur, Monterey or Ventura. Apple's advancements with the new M1 processor and OS11 have made certain technologies, such as the DB4, incompatible. As a result, along with other factors we sadly discontinued Xone:DB4 after a great 10 years in production. For up-to-date Mac OS integration, we recommend seeking third-party interface alternatives and using DB4 analogue connectivity. Kind regards, Luke
Thank you for the video and for the mixer, it is awesome i have it, only i dont get it why so bad the feeling of the chanel fader, compare to xone 96 or pioneer? Even my ddjrb has better chanel fader feeling..:( and why isnt possible to swap the faders with the 96?:/ that what could improove! Thank you:$
I absolutely love the up faders on the px5 best ones I've ever used and live the feeling. I guess it's personal preference. I agree it's an awesome mixer and so flexible too especially with all the effects internals and external options
Can you please bring out a driver for the DB2/4 .. I heard Elektron had the same problem with the usb card from ploytec and built a driver in house! It’s a shame these are awesome mixers !
Hola soy de argentina; tengo un mixer xone px5 y en menos de 1 año el mixer se me quemo las lineaas de retorno y record... los mande a reparar a @arstechnologies ahora tengo que cambiar la placa base... como puede ser que una emprea de primera marca tenga este tipo de problemas con sus equipos... la verdad que dejan mucho que deasear y a causa de estos problemas van a perder un cliente.
