Sergui, what do you suggest upgrading if the game lags on Medium and High settings? If you suggest upgrading the video card which video cards do you suggest? Much appreciated!
Bryan James Hey. It's hard to say. Somtimes you need to upgrade more than the video card. Confront the recommended requirements for Stronghold Crusader 2 with you system specifications and see what needs to be improved and improve. :)
Than* And it's worse in every single detail. They've first replaced the 2D engine with a worst looking 3D engine. The computer lords look even more shit than the first stronghold crusader. The game is badly optimizied, my new laptop should run this game smoothly, while there is no fight I get around 80 fps but when there's a small fight between 5-10 units the fps drops down to 10 even with v-sync on. There are a few annoying bugs that don't really bother me but they're still there. There are no moats, no fear factor. All buildings require a massive amount of wood. I really wouldn't call this stronghold crusader 2 it's more like stronghold 3 with stronghold crusader units. Even though I don't like the game some experts like Dan zero and Dragonfire love it, and they've even developed an expert playstyle for it ''to rinse and repeat''
do you prefer stronghold crusader 2 over the first one (with extreme and mods)? i presonally think a lot of things were removed without reason :(. and the game is a lot slower
