    Great video! In Russia we don't use Ural/Dnepr motorcycles as a solo ride, 99% are used with sidecar, so there's no good video instructions how to properly install side stand.
    As far as I'm building bije without sidecar, your information is really useful for me, thanks.

    Well done.
    I could only suggest two other things - using thin, hardened washers (usually used as spacers on shafts, etc.) to eliminate the gap between the ss and the mount (while also reducing friction; although it's negligible in this case), as well as using a shorter (shortened) bolt with a nyloc nut.

      Yes, I know but you need washers on a certain thicknes and this are hard to find. The washers that I have in my garage were to thick to enter in that gap...
