When I did chemistry practice problems on youtube it seemed very simple since you can tell what you need to do from the title of the video. When I did online study guides would be lost. This video really helped break down the basics and helps you learn which conversation is necessary for the problem. Thanks so much!

This actually helped me well you did and I thank you so much for this. Our chemistry teacher is good but in my opinion what makes it fun to learn more about anything is your sense of humor, basically learn to have fun with the subject and students. And you are like that so that’s pretty great I subscribed to your channel cause I found it very helpful and you actually have explain very well. We have a EOC test tomorrow 😰I don’t expect to get a 90% if so then that’d be a miracle but anyways I don’t mind getting a good grade and or above approaches I just want to pass. Hey Melissa. May I please ask why you used 28 grams of carbon monoxide instead of 58 grams? Are we not supposed to multiply the 28 grams by 2?
no, because you are adding the CO's atomic weight in 1 mole.

ahhh I am kinda confused at the part where I should put 1 mole or the balanced mole value. Can you help me with that?
I guess you put 1 mole when you are computing the molar mass because it's the atomic weight that's important there but you put the coefficient of the balanced equation when you calculate the mole to mole ratio.

At 8:14 you switch from not having anything to having the first 3 parts. I'm confused on where you get the 28 grams from. That's what trips me out right now.
Alena Mahadevan the 28 is the molar mass of CO, using the molar mass allows us to convert grams to moles
