    Thanks for the video and the demonstration. I also think I should probably look into that small particle reader also. There are many times I think I can just open the door and clear the air but I think a scrubber like this is a good personal health investment. Have a good day

      @@KingFox76 I don’t think it is a very underestimated fact in a woodworking shop. Dias is basically a very bad thing that can damage your lungs and eventually your health so I am definitely gonna speak more about this topic . This particular meter is very accurate and well-made is a shop in Germany that sells these. I will get a discount code soon so I will promote that that save you some money.

      Ok Sir, I forgot to see if it was listed or linked in the video description. If you get the code I’ll take a look at it. Thanks and have a good day.

    Thanks for the demo, the only thing I noticed from the explanation on the lid - that hose is not for inlet, its an exhaust hose.

    • @pudeyan
      @pudeyan 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was misled by the term `exhaust`, but after some browsing I figured out the hose is not for the fresh air, it supposed to be sucking out the the fine dust hanging in the air if placed nearby the dust source.

      Many thanks for your support and feedback. This particular meter is only available in Germany at Dustlight.DE I will be soon and ambassador from grand, and I will introduce it to some other woodworking shops as well, but for now we can order them in Germany in their particular shop if you can’t find the website, please let me know. I can help you out.

    Does it have any function to run for a set number of hours? I have a WEN filter and i can set it up to run for 1, 2, or 4 hours and then it turns off automatically. That is great for leaving the air filter running after I'm done for the day.

    • @DCreationwoodworking
      @DCreationwoodworking  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This machine doesn’t have a built-in timer; it just has on, off, and two settings. However, you can easily connect it to an external timer device. I understand the benefit of leaving it on when you leave, but I personally find it hard to leave any machines running unattended. A few years ago, I had a bad experience with a fire caused by a faulty power cord that started melting. Since then, I always prefer to turn everything off when I’m not around.

    I wonder how much filters will be and how often you have to change them. You mentioned you can clean them. But is that indefinitely? I know it depends on environment and use case.

    • @DCreationwoodworking
      @DCreationwoodworking  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@3ddiy well unfortunately I can’t give any information about that because I don’t have this machine very long although I think the first filter you need to change frequently depending on the use an environment as you already mentioned. I think the second filter will last very long. But the very positive thing is if the flow is bad, then this machine will, let it know automatically so that is a very good indication when you need to change or clean filters

    This looks great, I just want to see the price of the unit and filters in the US. I was planning to get a Coway indoor air purifier but need to consider the lifetime costs of the filters and as an owner of Festool I’m familiar with how they can overcharge for consumables and accessories. You could hook this up to a smart power plug and automate it to turn on when a smart air quality meter is over some threshold, as long as you’re present in the shop. Having it turn on when plugged into power is something the regular residential purifiers don’t typically have.

    • @DCreationwoodworking
      @DCreationwoodworking  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure what the filter prices will be but I do understand what you’re saying so far I can’t say anything about lifetime but I would say the first filter which is the cheapest one be replaced would say every six months or so I think the main filter will hold very long, but the future will learn if this is true I find it very handy that this airflow bulb is included so you can keep an eye on the airflow if it’s still working properly. Yeah, something with smart plug would be very handy so far. I’m just flooding it in every time when I use it, but I will change it in future to something automatically.

    How did you got hand so fast already? Its very nice but i think doent work with Bluetooth when you use machine start automaticly?

    • @DCreationwoodworking
      @DCreationwoodworking  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Bluetooth would be nice on normal dust extraction machines but this on the lower stand you want to turn it on for a longer time. Also after you are done with your machines. On the lower stand, it is quite enough to work, relaxed without earplugs for ear protection. I think that’s the reason why they didn’t add Bluetooth because she don’t want to turn it on and off all the time you wanna run it more consistently for a longer. To generate clean air

      You need filters running for the full duration you are on site or in workshop. Having it turn on and off with a vac while you cut would be pointless as it will leave dust particles airborne

    Thank you good person for your presentation. This problem of dust is also a problem for me. But problems are just new possibilities for people like us.
    For many years now I have put forward over the net a plan for a purpose made workshop, A DUSTLESS SOUNDPROOFED WOODWORKING WORKSHOP! At present I hope to make a 60msq workshop with;
    1. A 3 to 4 m soundproofed room in the centre
    2. In that room house my pressure and volume extractors and an air cleaner vented to both the outside of the building for cold weather
    3. Around that room will be my workbenches and machinery
    4. Air cleaners in the central room will have outlets at waist height to draw air DOWN from the workbenches and machinery. Negative pressure in the workshop will be compensated for by sound baffled air vents under the eves of the building.
    SO FAR THIS IS STILL THEORY. I have to wait for a house move to see if this can be done efficiently to earn the title of THE WORLD'S FIRST dustless woodworking workshop. Hopefully if I migrate to Queensland where the weather is warmer I can vent to the outside air all the time thus drawing in clean oxygenated air whenever I am in there working. May I ask what you think of this idea? Can you adapt parts of this plan to your workshop.

    • @DCreationwoodworking
      @DCreationwoodworking  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry for my late response I wanted to take the time for a proper answer and going over your question. I really think your idea is a very great one. It is always great to work with air pressure differences in your shop so there is always a good flow. Normally you racked 10% more than your air that is coming freshly in then you have a very good balancing system with an under pressure. I did some very high and cleanrooms for the company ASL and that is how they are able to eliminate almost every particle in the air. Obviously, we are talking about big extractors and air control units but if you use the same principle, then this will work very great.
