The Word says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.” This is having the opposite of the defiant attitude saturating our society today. A life with Jesus makes you far richer than anything this world has to offer.

And I can continue bringing more verses. You know, people don't seem to understand what happened under the New Covenant. In the OLD COVENANT, ISRAEL was called the SEED OF ABRAHAM, but UNDER THE NEW COVENANT JESUS CHRIST becomes the SEED OF ABRAHAM. And that's why Paul has problems with Jews who are converting. He is telling them that the Gentiles are now part of this special people chosen by God, but that is because of the Messiah. In order for you to be a chosen one of God you have to see it as Peter wrote.
But you are a CHOSEN PEOPLE, a royal PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY NATION, GOD'S OWN PEOPLE, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you (1 Peter 2:9).
When you read that chapter carefully, you see that the Jews wanted to remain the special people and Peter is telling them that that is not the way it works under the New Covenant because it was more Gentiles who received the message of the Messiah than they did . preaching, so now he tells them. that now we are all one but now for you to be a chosen people under the New Covenant you have to recognize this Jesus as the Messiah or else you cannot be one of these special chosen ones of God do not confuse old Covenant with New Covenant
This teaching brought by dispensationalism in the mid-20th century that God has two chosen people is not biblical. Peter is stating here that there is only one, not two, three, four or five.
