I have lived in Vegas most of the time since I came here at 19. I’m now 73. I lived away from the strip, there really is a real world here. Still live here near my two sons and their families. A good place for families.
Ratings are important for Airbnbs, the owner was probably using the cheap price to farm good ratings when first starting up. It's harder to find renters at full price if you have zero reviews
Honestly, it should be illegal Just post the real fuking price and remove bs fees to get to the “real price” Tired of the shit and it’s not just a Vegas thing either
@@CellaDragon Well, at least they tell you the total amount before you book the place, unlike the Casinos, where you do not find out what the fee is until you are there.
I live a couple of blocks from the Big Horn Casino. Its a great place to eat and have a cold beer. Beers are only $3.00 24/7. You are only a stranger until you walk in the door.
Ok $10 a night but what was the grand total after all the extra fees? Cleaning fee, management fee, tax etc. Anymore now airbnb is starting to get ridiculous with the added fees.
I am dying to know what actually happened. That is hilarious and lucky for both you and the owner, you were both honest people if it was just a pricing error. 😂😂❤
Airbnb really only works out with price if you’re staying for a longer time. The cleaning fee for one night always screws up the budget. But that one is very nicely appointed. A little TOO decorated for my taste though.
Even with the resort fee, it's the same price as staying on the strip. This house makes more sense if staying with more people, since you can split the cost with more people than a standard room in a hotel.
Dude, very interesting and useful (thanks for ID’ing the AirBnB location) - would’ve liked to hear your opinion on the casino itself. Your innovative content lately is blowing away your fellow Vegas TH-camrs. Appreciate all your effort. Thx.
Hello Jacob. May have been given a great deal just to get some advertisement from you and a review then jacked everything up like you said. Cleaning fees for 1 person 1 night $150 is kind of crazy for sure. Decor was okay except all the vines running along the walls nope not my idea of decor. Thanks for sharing someone will be interested in it. Probably cheaper than hotels for a week with kids or big group. Take care.
Far from outrageous considering the house and number of beds. Im sure the host accidentally input some rates ..it happens. They got lucky it was someone like Jacob that stumbled upon it.
This is a new twist if a person does not want to stay in one of the casinos. To get there might be risky during the day and downright dangerous at night. LOL, glad you're still safe and well!
(I mean this in a nice way, Jacob😂:-) But, up to about the 13-14th minute,(resort fees) that was the greatest click bait, in the history of TH-cam. I mean ; for 13 minutes, my mind was screaming ‘only $10 a night!?’ Otherwise, great video.👍🏽
I’m in Vegas almost every other month. I want to get a second home there. That’s a sweet deal. May have to stay there on the next visit. Thanks for sharing!!!
Appreciate it....I tend to NOT even look at the Ultra cheap properties exactly because of the fee nonsense. Why play that game ? Just be honest and upfront....otherwise you are likely missing out on looks.
Hello Jacob. Greetings from Canada. First time on your channel. I discovered your channel as you were playing local guide to another blogger. Thank you for sharing. I found it interesting and informative. Best wishes.
Thanks for showing the alternative options of places to stay..... You had me at 10 dollars.... Que (full metal jacket) but choked on total disclosure of fees ( to boku) ... Love the vids
Take back the amazing AirBnB comment. $10 a night is a bait & switch scheme! $190 after all the fees, is about the same price as a decent hotel room on the strip. Location isn’t ideal, but NO PARKING reserved for at least one car??? Nope, I’m out. The building code in Vegas is disgraceful to allow residential zoning with no minimum parking requirements?!?
Hi Jacob. This is Robert from New Zealand. I just started following you today and really like your content. My wife and I have been interested to visiting LV but neither of us is interested in Gambling. We’d be there for the shows and to experience the immenseness of it all. The air bnb was a great video as itaddresses the option of staying in a casino or outside the strip. We would be reliant on Uber and public transport which I think would be a killer but I had no idea that the air bnb fees were so ridiculous. It’s a great argument for a resort stay. Have you done any videos on the transport around and on the outskirts of LV ? Thank you. Robert
I highly recommend going and staying or at least renting a car and going off strip. Honestly I don’t know how people get drunk on the strip without going bankrupt after their first couple of beers. The markup is crazy! Go about 20 minutes out of the strip and get $2 bottles of pretty decent wine, $6 six packs of beer and bring them back to the hotel and then go out and party 🙂
Any places you can recommend that sounds like a steal I’m a wine and beer guy myself. I’m going to Vegas in December for my birthday and been wanting to explore because its my 2nd time going to Vegas
Nice review. You probably should have disclosed the total price earlier in the video. But, I like the idea. Next time, you should stay at one actually in a bad neighborhood.
Not any more than a group booking several rooms at a hotel/resort and an Air BNB is free parking, and full kitchen to have meals etc so that's a lot of money saved cooking breakfast and lunch if they want to.
That cleaning fee would make sense if you were staying for a week, but one day - yikes! That's just robbery, and right there would put me staying right back on the strip if I was in town for just a few days.
@@vegas_jc3722 it's not for everyone but they f you go barefoot in your room on the strip then go barefoot in an Air BNB you would see the difference in cleanliness.
