    😃Do you want to focus on a specific pair?
    ON/IN time 00:43
    AT/IN the beginning 03:29
    KILL/WASTE time 06:02
    RECENTLY/LATELY 07:21
    FINALLY/EVENTUALLY 09:12
    BEFORE/AGO 14:00
    UNTIL/BY 16:01
    TEST 18:44 (Let me know in the comments how you do!)

      Hi Arnel, can you please tell me the grammar rule of using ‘being’ in a sentence without auxiliary…I have seen news reports like this
      Eg : Tribunal appointments being taken lightly: Supreme Court
      May I know what the rule is?

    • @aboobakarsiddiq1457
      @aboobakarsiddiq1457 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shuhaibgurukkal5302 in this auxiliary is there actually but it is hidden the sentence is actually like this tribunal appointment which is being taken lightly and it goes so on.In news they write it in short or brief

    I am glad I took the test "at the end" to finally be able to say that I aced it "in the end"!
    I have one more suggestion on a similarly time-related explanation between "for now" and "by now" unless you already did it in one of so many wonderful lessons of yours.
    Thank you, teacher Arnel!

    • @ArnelsEverydayEnglish
      @ArnelsEverydayEnglish  2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Great job on the test! Normally there isn't a difference between these two phrases and people often use them interchangeably.
      As usual, this meal was delicious.
      As always, this meal was delicious.
      BUT! If we want to be picky, "as always" is stronger because it's something that happens all the time.
      Hope this helps! :)
