By watching your video I have solved one of my issue where I was having same problem of IKE-ID mismatch and IKE-ID validation error. This has now solved. I salute you for producing such a brilliant video
will it work if I will configure NAT directly on the SRX2 lets say? i will have ge-0/0/0 with a private IP, and a nat 1:1 which will translate this IP to a public IP.

Hmm, I'm not sure, but I don't think the IPSec will be NAT'd in that case. Give it a try and let me know!
