Bring Me The Horizon is an English band. They and BABYMETAL have been good friends since they first met in the UK in 2015 and Oli Sykes (the lead singer) took BABYMETAL under his wing when he saw them wandering around backstage at a festival looking excited but a bit shy to make sure they felt welcomed and at home. They had often spoken of wanting to collaborate. In 2019 BABYMETAL invited BMTH to tour with them in Japan and in 2020 BMTH had BABYMETAL guest on this song as part of the album/EP they were releasing. Originally BABYMETAL sent their contributions entirely in English, Oli Sykes asked them to include some Japanese. Apart from the strong language this song wouldn't be so out of place in BABYMETAL's own catalogue, they go as hard as this in some of their own songs. It took 3 years before they finally got together to perform it live. BMTH arranged the NEX_FEST events in Japan and invited BABYMETAL to play at all 4 events, so they had already played their own set. At all 4 events BABYMETAL came back out during the BMTH set (so no Kami band for this, this was Bring Me The Horizon playing) to perform this song - and you could see they were all really enjoying performing together. They have played together at festivals since this and they seem to have more fun each time. Oli Sykes has also been calling BABYMETAL "the coolest three ladies on the planet" at the end of the performances - and he really means it.🤘
@@B.RyanReactions I dont even post much detailed info, @Grington300 and Jake usually has most of it covered. I just point out a few things, saves me typing.
Nice! This is an amazing collab from 2020 that was finally performed live by both artists end of 2023. Also, Kingslayer is the song title. Bring Me the Horizon is a UK band, and they took Babymetal under their wings a bit back in 2015 when Babymetal was fairly new to the scene. They been long time industry friends since then. BMTH just dropped a new album as well! 🤘🦊
Welcome back, hope to see you around with more BM songs. Just a quick correction, you got the title and band name backwards, so this is BMTH - Kingslayer feat. BabyMetal. This was the best 2020 collab between these two great bands and we finally got this collab on the stage together after so much time waiting for it. BMTH performed at Southside Festival in Germany and Hellfest Festival in previous years, there's a nice proshot version but with only BabyMetal backing track vocals, luckily since last year we got this amazing clip showing them sharing the same stage at Makuhari Messe during a festival called "NEX_FEST" ending October and starting November last year, and they did it not only once but four times in a row, everyone went bonkers with these, you can also find fancams of each night showing some different interactions at the end between Oli and the girls, SuMetal thanked to BMTH in all of them, that's the only thing i can complain about this clip but it's cool anyway. BMTH couldn't have better collab on their album Post Human Survival Horror, there are some others really good songs there thou but this one is just on another level. My suggestions are: "Parasite Eve" and "Teardrops", also "Ludens" from Death Stranding OST videogame. They released a new album this year. This song was produced by Mick Gordon, the same behind videogames like Doom, Wolfenstein and Prey, so you can feel the vibes here. They're friends since 2015 when met each other at Kerrang Awards so the collab was almost naturally unavoidable. They even performed as a support band for BabyMetal and Oli praise the Fox God too (atheist, dame, zettai)🦊🤘 The drum&bass instrumental intro on this song is called "Itch For The Cure (When We Will Be Free?)" which is clearly a tribute to Linkin Park song "Cure For The Itch", but the short animation and dialogue wasn't part of the album track, it's a reference to Metal Gear Solid videogame created by Hideo Kojima, they got another MGS tribute song called "Shadow Moses" and later in 2019 they were part of Death Stranding OST, another Hideo Kojima game. Also you can find a short documentary about the making of this song where Oli said interesting things about the method they worked with the BM team and giving multiple choice of doing this. Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did this year: - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV. And more recently along with Electric Callboy - RATATATA, careful with the official MV and put some watermarked logo, if still getting blocked then go for the official live version that is usually safe to react. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🤘🔥
LOL, you will never live down the name mix-up. A screamo song mixed with Babymetals's cleans is always good. BRING ME THE HORIZON and BabyMetal have been friends a long time. Oli the BRING ME THE HORIZON singer treated the girls really well when they were around 14 years old. There are some funny pictures, I think the girls all had a crush on him at first.
👍👍An awesome performance and one of the best collaborations ever.🔥🔥🔥 🦊 🖖❤ Slight correction. The band is Bring Me The Horizon and the song is Kingslayer.
Nice reaction. The music right after that little intro is called "The Cure for the Itch". On the album it has some vocals from Moa on it. It's a short song. With that said this was a very cool performance which both groups waited a long time to get to perform this together thanks to covid. The band playing is Bring Me the Horizon. Which is fitting since it's their song. Every time I see this performance I wait for those deep headbangs they do together near the end of the song. Especially Moas. They must have enjoyed doing them because they started doing them during their own shows. Especially Moa. Puts a smile on her face. Ok Babymetal puts a smile on all are faces. Enjoy the journey through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.
It totally depends on the song. But Olli decided after the first versions, that with Su at his side he could go as hard as possible. As far as I know zhe Kami Band wss never involved, especially not the Kami Band West. They simply found the girls and then played the local guides. This was extremly helpfull for Su. She was not yet really firm in her english. So they were introduced to far more people and the boys took care to explain who they were. But they changed the Animation totally after this performance. Now they use three ladies with Foxmasks who perform Babymetals dance moves. And as far as we heard Electric Callboy is thinking about doing the same.
Kingslayer is an amazing song and another collab with Babymetal and *Bring me The Horizon* who worked out well. I've to introduced to Babymetal through their collaboration with Electric Callboy, which I also like very much. Ngl I have some diffulties with their own stuff. But these two songs are just great. If your are looking for another band to react, choose Hanabie - We love sweets.
It MAY be worth naming them properly in your video titles - it's BabyMetal - NOT "Baby Metal" - ppl searching for reactions to them will probably miss you. Glad you like them anyway and this performance is bloody awesome.

Great reaction! One of my favorite collaborations." BMTH&BM" really cooooool!👑🔥🦊
Favorite collab 🤘🦊🤘
Well Bring Me the Horizon’s early stuff went really hard as they started as a Deathcore band. Babymetal brought that beast back out.

"Sega Saturn" will never not be funny.

Towards the end of an all day festival. People were waiting all day for this.
The band is Bring me the horizon, the song is Kingslayer😸
I suggest The end Lil uzi vert feat babymetal. Only audio version available
This back-screen video has now been replaced by an animation of three women in fox masks dancing.

Nice reaction. The show belonged to Bring me the Horizon, the band was theirs.
LOL
