I just want to point out "DJ" = Disc Jockey and they're suppose to just make mix and basically get people dancing not make music, a producer makes music and remixes.
wishmaker101 Didn't say they couldn't but if someone introduced themselves as a mechanic and then said they were a professional racer aswell sure one person can be both but people will just assume he's just a mechanic if that's how he labels himself. same with when you say you're a disc jockey if you say "i'm a DJ" people who know what it means will just think you make mixes and play events not make music, of course you could always do both which he does.
