no it's not - he is a starter and he plays wing when our starting wings are Franz and Suggs. Anfernee Simons, a scoring point guard who is a high volume shooter is what we need most. Gotta fill that 5th starting position. Love Bridges and he would make us better, but he wouldn't balance the team out the way someone like Simons would. And I love Gary Trent Jr. coming off the bench as a high volume shooter/scorer and Patrick Williams as 3 and D combo forward backing up Franz. Williams is similar to Bridges, but much more affordable as a really young RFA. Bridges will cost a bunch of money to keep - Simons has a sizable, but not exorbitant contract. In the draft, if that pick is not included in a trade for Simons or some other player, I try to move up into the bottom of the lottery and draft Jared McCain out of Duke - a high volume, high percentage 3 point shooting point guard with 3 level scoring skills, ballhandling skills, and passing ability.
@@Ellisdurell Bridges is great, he is just doesn't have a natural starting spot, you are not sitting either Franz or Paolo to start him, so that means you either go without a PG and have Suggs serve in that role in some sort of way. I love the player, do not like the fit. I believe Anfernee Simons fits better with the starting lineup, but would not say no to adding Bridges, of course, but fit matters, just ask Phoenix. They have guys who can play the 1, but not anywhere near good enough to balance out the roster - Booker, Durant, and Beal can all play multiple positions, but that doesn't mean that it is optimal for any of them to play point. Just like it would not be optimal for either Suggs or Bridges to be the primary point guard, it is one thing to play it for portions of the game, but we see how much better Dallas is by having 2 guys who can actually play as primary point guards and how much harder that is to defend than guys who can kind of sort of play point guard - both played against Minnesota and one beat them handily and one lost to them easily.
Same, if Paolo and Dejounte can make up the potential for this team could be huge. They both from Seattle, and dejounte is a hermit he dont do anything but ball

Murray hasnt increased his price tag at the bare minimum and Carter is a way better player than Galinari was. Carter, houston, howard, and next year denver pick gets this done.-
Monk’s bench days are done for now. He can run an offense and he is a realistic addition. Too many people have unrealistic additions in mind that will cost, hurt team chemistry snd financially handicap the Magic. Add Monk, Jones, and Claxton to the young core snd win over 50 games.
trading for Simons is not unrealistic, and the Magic have enough draft capital they wouldn't need to give up too much of the current roster. Monk is a terrible defensive player, just like Young. Neither are even serviceable on defense. But Monk is still a potential addition, I doubt Young fits with us, Murray is a more likely addition from the Hawks. Tyus Jones would be a fine addition, but getting a more dynamic shooter/scorer like Simons would be better. 2 other names I like are Gary Trent Jr. from the Raptors, a really good high volume shooter to come off the bench , add some scoring punch while stretching the defense, and he is a solid team defender, and then Patrick Williams from the Bulls, a really good shooting 3 and D forward to back up Franz, and who is very young still with loads of upside. I do not think adding Paul George or Klay Thompson makes since for this team, adding young veterans who have already shown they can play in the league would be better and more in step with our current time frame. Don't want to shorten our window and hurt roster flexibility by being impatient a signing an aging star with injury concerns.

@@13cozmik mikal can play 1-3. He’s versatile in this position less game. Franz can play the 3 & 4 and so on with other guys.
