Great solar setup and electric outboard. Also love the wind/tiller setup - brilliant. And onboard loo...I still want one, they would be an ideal cruising boat...Nice to see timber and white combo too...cosy and nice to look at. Youll be looking at it for a while...:-)
So exciting. Can’t wait to see the father and son duo out on the water competing. Every boat has its own story. We’ll know them all intimately as the race progresses. A refreshing change to the sailing scene. Thanks Don!
Father and Son is just SO special. Those fixtures coming through the ceiling might do your head a damage. Some evafoam glued up there might save you a sore head,
Thats awesome 😎⛵🤩 Don im finally on the water, after a few year delay (caused by 2020) hopefully i will meet you at some point and I'd love to make a boat tour of one of your 5.80s. All the best 🙏🏻⛵🏴☠️⚓❤️
Great preparation ! Those keel bolts look like a hazard for your feet, and the same with the protruding bolt ends on the cabin top.. could do yourself a nasty injury in there.. Best of luck!
Fascinating. Best of luck John.

Enjoyed this, great job!

That is just what I thought. One mistake. Head injuries bleed terribly.
Such a great achievement! Great interview
❤
Great work very inspirational
That arm for the solar panel has given me an idea, could possibly use the uptube from a carbon bicycle
Fantastic story wishing you all the best of luck. My mate Gary Swindail is also in the race. Hope you interview him too.

Amazing
Hi from Noosa, 🎉
Great preparation ! Those keel bolts look like a hazard for your feet, and the same with the protruding bolt ends on the cabin top.. could do yourself a nasty injury in there.. Best of luck!
Great build! Watch out you don't stub your toes on the bolt heads though!
That floor looks like a recipe for crippled feet, especially in rough sea, hope he's going to cover it.
❤❤❤❤❤
Do the boats have Starlink?
Not mandatory but three or four do have star link...most Go-Exec and satellite phones. No restrictions..
You just signed your death warrant. My GIRLFRIEND is the answer to what you going to miss most? Lovely build good luck.
What is your 15seconds and why do they allow motoring
15 seconds is the test time to show how fast you can deploy life raft.
Awesome boat. Most annoying interviewer ever.
Rear hinged hatches not a good idea and bowsprit looks way undersized
