I won't say how many times I've watched this on repeat. But every time I get a little more nuance of meaning out of the way you edited the lyrics, the dialogue and the images. Bravo!
god. this was riveting. there's so many videos about Crowley's angst, but I love how this one fits Aziraphale so well. the lines in the song "In all the good times, I find myself longing for change / And in the bad times, I fear myself" is so poignant for Azi, torn between so much trauma and fear from Heaven, and trying to go back there to change it so that he and Crowley and humanity will never have to be under that fear again. He's torn up and desperate for Crowley but can't let go of Heaven either, and now he's jumped into the deep end. Anyway, your edit really moved me deeply, and I love the slow focus on Azi in certain parts. Broke my heart.
Aziraphale is order and Crowley is chaos, and they both fit together, but Aziraphale hasn't quite worked out yet that he can't make Heaven into what he wants it to be.
Omg i just realised something - whenever Aziraphale says he "feels love" in the first season, what else could he be talking about??? CROWLEY! Hes still native to so many human things, he probably doesnt even know what he means when he says it because it makes no sense. But the first time Azi felt love when they were at the hospital, his first instinct was to reach for Crowleys arm. And he grabs him way more often in season two so i wonder if he started to notice whether or not he was feeling love for him
