We struggled like hell in the 70s. No one would show us anything. BERNTH makes you want to learn. I've played 50 years but not until the last 5 listening to people like you on TH-cam.. I would have walked on hot coals to have you in 1973. Guitar player magazine was the only resource I had in the 70s. Thanks for all you put out here. I don't watch them all but I've learned so much from you. My playing is 50 times better.

Bernth, I've seen some video's on YT, but the way you explain and show this info is really great the way you connect chord arpeggio and scale is a new and clear one to me, at the age of sixty one wants to see hear and learn and not see someone show off ore not capable of talking clear and comprehensive. Great job , Frank

This is super serendipitous. I have literally been watching Berth vids for the last half hr cuz the kids are asleep and the Mrs is doing her own thing. Mainly shred stuff and scales to practice. That’s A.

Hi Bernth, thanks for another awesome lesson! A quick question: in trick #3, even though you've talked about adding the #4 to a major pentatonic, the exercise shown had the #4 added to an arpeggio. Did you actually mean to add it to the arpeggio (since it sounded great) or was it shown as an arpeggio by mistake? Great fan of your content, cheers!

i didnt know which frets b flat minor was on and had to google it in tab form.....i just couldnt tell by eye, which frets you were touching.
i could learn, and i have done, a million times, but i have a learning disability and i dont remember things as easy as people, but for the most part i found this extremely helpful and ive been taking notes, thank you.
it would be so cool to get lessons like these on youtube, but for dumb dumb dummies......its extremely difficult for me to learn and ive been playing for 12 years.....yet im still a beginner....
lessons made even easier than this, for intellectually impaired people :) if you could say the fret number for the root note of the scale youre about to play, id be able to follow in real time instead of pausing every 5 seconds.....
