Question: Java 8 allows default and static methods in the interface.
Can we use that in Functional Interface?
If yes what is the real-time use case?

No,I don't think so. It should be either abstract or static.Since all methods under interface are abstract.

​@@anisha7909dont say java 8 it's it's 1.8 after sun micro system hand over java to oracle corporation it's name change floating like criteria to 1.8 to only 9,10,11----21.According your question after 1.7v of java you can declare default method and static method inside inter face.
