A little bit of information about WHERE you are in Morgantown would be greatly appreciated.
Not all of us who are watching these videos are from Morgantown, but are planning to visit and would like more information so we too can enjoy the sites of the city, where you are walking in this video. I realize you don't want to talk but adding some subtitles would help us all.
This is the Monongahela River. Across that bridge to the right is Westover. The bridge is called the Westover bridge. Going into Morgantown is where the bridge takes you. Smack onto High Street, which anything you could ever want can be found. You have to go out of Morgantown for those, thankfully!
The amphitheater is the Hazel Ruby McQuain Theatre. The West Virginia University teaching hospital is also named after her. She obviously was a great citizen there. (Side note… Don Knotts of Deputy Barney Fife fame was born here!) The amphitheater is a great starting place for events which go on there. It’s also the starting point for many fun runs, 5,10ks and marathons. It’s a beautiful rails to trails place.

@@andrelee3008 I had no problems in Morgantown on my visit. My family stays out there and I've been visiting West Virginia since i was a toddler and always had great memories. I walked around downtown 3x a day, around the this loop twice a day, and stayed 5 nights and everyone was cool. I've never lived there so I can't tell you much on that end but met a Black veteran who retired there and other's were walking around downtown Morgantown didn't seem too worried. As far as jobs it seemed like the economy focused on WVU. Great Black History there as well and check out the Osage History Museum and if you come across Mr Al Anderson from Al's Shoe Repair and former lead singer for the Dominioe's he can help you out
Yes. It’s a multicultural town because of the University. People from all over the world attend here!!!
