As someone who may come back, why is Medjay not played much? Despite the recycled animations he looks quite cool and he seems to have some versatility with his stances.
@@gabrieldoyen692 Y'know it's funny, I don't know, he's been damn near my main since release. I mean his gear is cool, I love the fan-axe that has a locking device built in at the centre and just overall a really fun character to play so I'm not sure. Just faded into obscurity slightly after his event.
@@gabrieldoyen692 because he is boring and bland to play as, and against, and its not my opinion either, you can ask around, why else wouldnt he be played. When it comes to his kit its not very strong. Having 2 stances is pretty cool, but both are very uninteresting overall.
@@cavemancult1999 Well that is reason he's played as "little". He's mid at everything except clearing soldiers and boring to top it off. Saving graces being his fashion and mind numbingly easy gameplay.
Animations aside it's not that bad, it's actually a really cool character, I fell like people don't understand him, like he can recovery cancel EVERYTHING, after any hit or parry (even if u miss the hit) you can recovery cancel by switching stance, I feel like he was built around this canceling mechanic, hence the hyperarmour and slow bash on staff mode, and quick bash and unblocables in axe mode, like , I usually start a chain, switch stances mid chain, bash in axe mode, switch again, and then I can either dodge attack, zone, bait a parry or start a new chain, wich is very freaking powerful, after a while my oppenet usually sees this coming and dodge in order to avoid the axe mode bash, that's when I either use the staff stance bash, which usually catches early dodges or I continue my chain to get a free heavy or I gb, medjay is a fucking demon when played like this, you make people guess between double your usual options, which it's pretty good IMO
