Hey thanks man, I just got this computer from a pawn shop for really cheap and I wanted to set up python properly because somehow I always fuck that up. Quick question tho, do I want to click the box at the beginning that says "Use admin privileges when installing py.exe and what does that do? Thanks!

tried the exact steps but i'm getting "Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases." in cmd
i've also tried editing system enviroment variable but still the same error
how do i fix it?

dont install it from Microsoft Store.. install it after downloading the python exe from the official site..
