If the 11s are hurting your fingers, especially bending the strings, tune the guitar down a half step and add a capo to the first fret. This reduces the tension needed to put the guitar in standard tuning and makes it much easier to bend the strings. The lower tension will also give you more sustain.
I just bought a new set of 11's for my gear4music trravel guitar. My Pops is really good at re-stringing guitars. The thin E string is delicoate! Sometimes it can break whilst tuning it to pitch!
@@dime_life4768 Correct but sometimes, we had to gig for more than 5 hours. It's tough. I've been playing for more than 30 years. I guess my finger skin doesn't want to learn. 😄
Your example using 2 of the same guitars to make a point is irrelevant. I have done the same thing and found out every guitar no matter how they look have totally different characteristics. You would be better off trying a Gibson with 24 3/4" scale and 12's. For your own satisfaction you will be amazed how much easier it is to play and have less strain on your playing ability.

u develop strength over periods of time..the more u hqve play the better u will sound
