This song is a real grower for me; not amongst my very favourites from her "Writing Of Blues And Yellows" album initially (probably because it doesn't have an obvious hook), but now it is almost up there with Teeth, Live and Unaware....as another said on here, it is "breathtakingly beautiful". For some additional info, "Emily" is also one of the five tracks from Billie's album that she wrote entirely on her own (the others being, Green, Unaware, Hello Sunshine and Teeth).
Wow, her voice is airy and majestic. That's the best way to describe it. I hope Aquilo can make it to Mahogany Sessions one day! That would be awesome.
