Disconnect the battery before unplugging the seat, but not before you unscrew the seat , swap all the modules from your seat in the new one , and mont everything bag in the reverse order! If you're not confident I recommend you to go to a profesionist , success !
I'm planning to do this. I can get a used seats and the switch. How do i program? I only have ncs expert. Also, if i don't program what will happen? Thanks.
Salut. Am luat 2 scaune de pe un E70 de anglia si as vrea sa le pun pe unul cu volan pe stanga. Scaunele de pe cel cu volan pe stanga sunt de tipul Comfort, iar cele de pe Anglia sunt electrice, dar nu au partea aceea lombara reglabila. Crezi ca o sa intampin ceva probleme?
Is that a module from the original seat u plug back under the new seat? Or did the new seats new modules?
Is the airbag module , the seats I mounted no longer had those modules on them and I had to take the ones from the old seats

I swapped airbag unit under the seat from old seat and also a belt buckle and earsed fault codes, seat modules dont need coding

First you need a CAN bridge to control them
Can you retrofit LCI idrive controller into pre LCI car?
Hello , Yes it is posible to retrofit but i won't recommend because ned program your CCC ant the CCC units are problematics
@@MOvidiu So you can use the LCI Idrive... screen, nav unit and MMI in a pre LCI car with the pre LCI controller?
If you retrofit all kit CiC , CID and controller still need to code the CIC fi you use MASK the same need coded

@@GeorgeAusters Sorry my mistake, i have seen a e60 in your profile picture and think you are talking about e60 , on e65 you can retrofit a facelift controller in a prefacelift car , and i think even in a nonfacelift car and need to code the MMI with controller with separate meniu button
Salut, doresc foarte mult sa achiziționez un E65, acum am un 330 Ci in care am investit foarte mult, dar pentru o familie în curând cu 3 copii devine inutil. As vrea sa-mi iau un 730i NFL datorită motorului, M54B30, pe care-l cunosc foarte bine, crezi că e o achiziție OK sau o sa mă leg la cap din cauza fiabilității? Câteva sfaturi îmi poți da? In principiu lucreaz singur la mașina și așa aș vrea să fac și la E65.
