- This week we start off by showing one of the most rare coins there is out there. I had a subscriber reach out with two very valuable coins worth a lot of money and I show those first, Next we take a lot of our gold from the pawn shop and melt it down into gold bars. It's a substantial amount of gold. over ten thousand dollars worth. As we melt more gold the bars get better and better. these being some of my best gold bars melted thus far. Consider subscribing to our channel and follow us along our resell pawn shop journey.
Besides Yard sales, the melting of gold is my favorite part of the channel.
Same here.
I can't wait to see Prince to scan it!
im glad you liked my packaging skills on that package! better safe than sorry! Enjoy the coins lol!
Those 4 bars look pretty nice. Great work.
Wathing you open that fedex package reminded me of those Russian nesting dolls that keep getting smaller and smaller as you unpack/open them...LOL!
Nah pass the parcel at a kids birthday party.
When melting any karat gold besides 24 of course, I’ve always added a 50-50 weight mix of gold and borax. It cleans it up significantly.
Great video. Always love watching something I can learn from. So much b s on TH-cam. But your channel never disappoints
Really cool video. The multiple Fed Ex packages was hilarious!
It's a good day when pawnbroker pickers uploads
Thanks 🙏
It will definitely be interesting to see what the purity ends up at for your bars
We will let you know
Very cool, love to see the behind the scenes of things you never expect from the pawn business. Always loving the content!
I love watching you it’s fun when you find good things at yard sales
It wouldn't have mattered if you lost 100grams... Just enjoying life with your old man is worth all the gold in the world...🤜🤛🤙
Idk if he’s worth that much 😂😂😂 just kidding, thanks for the comment
@@PawnBrokerPickers lol awesome..🙏👍🤜🤛
Facts bro i lost me dad 10yr ago in a tragic way and stil not a day goes by where i dont think of him and miss him and wish he was here. Enjoy it and cherish it while u have it. God bless🙏🙏🙏
Watching you open that package was priceless. Better safe than sorry 100%
The gold melt was cool to watch.
Keep melting the gold gets better each time !!!!👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You’ve got guts doing this on your own. But it’s great to watch! Thank you
The tumbler did a nice job of polishing the bars up. Nicely done!
Honestly I kinda prefer this over yard sales. Also more coins pls :)
I really like the old coins, def out of my price range for collecting though! Nice buys! Always cool to watch the melting process too.
With all that mixed scrap there will be a fair amount of silver in the gold. Borax will take out some of the metals but not silver. Also, when you pour, re-aim your torch at the pour spout of the crucible. That will get you a smoother bar.
U dont have to torch it while pouring u make sure its all hot and u pour fast!!!
I've watched some other live pours and they make use of a stand setup as an "extra" hand to hold the torch on the mold.
Those bars are looking allot better, becoming a professional smelter. Love the show. Richie
Loved the video!
Those bars look awesome, getting better at it every time!
Going to be a nice payday when you sell those.
P.S.
Hope you didn't hit your finger too hard with that hammer 😅.
The old coins are very interesting, always love to see coins coming into the shop. The gold melts are extremely interesting also. Maybe you can show the complete process including the assaying and sale of the bars to your buyer (Prince).
We will.
Awesome video! Just a FYI, after pouring, quench it immediately, gold solidifies quickly, and it will make it more dense. Also, it will make it more smooth when you pour and keep the torch on it for a few seconds.
Thanks for the tip!
Gotta get me one of those furnaces. Great Video Uso (brother)!
Very nice on your rare coins you bought , nice to add to the collection. Also nice to watch the melting of gold today.
Cool video, got a tooth ache but still love watching this kind of videos. Got an appointment tomorrow lol. Keep up the good work, they turned out very good I think. Practice makes perfect!
That sux. Good luck at the dentist. You’ll feel better tomorrow 👍
Enjoy watching!
Getting better each pour.
I loved watching you unwrap your coins, I was laughing and thinking about if they would have used tape like you do.
Justin & Mike,
The gold bars turned out pretty good, I think, after tumbling a little. Donnie- W.V. 🇺🇲
Great video. I’m the guy who won the silver maple leaf last Friday. Let me know how to get my address to you. I have a pan just like your cooling pan that I use to cook mashed potatoes.
@@catdaddy2643 yes sir. I’m pumped. Might be the first thing I ever won.
Nice! My local coin shop has one of these, he said I could use it. I have thought about getting all the supllies to purify the gold first.
It’s fun but be very careful. One mistake and it could be really bad. Purifying gold is a crazy process that you pretty much have to be a chemist to complete. Good luck.
Takes a steady hand. Pouring all the metals into that hole. Great job once again, keep up the great content.
Awesome buy on the coins. You will make some money. Love to watch you melt gold and silver. Take care you and your family. Maybe you could use a garden spade. To put all your gold in at once. Just a thought.
I’d be melting everything in sight if I had one of those. 😂
I noticed about halfway through that you made a comment about putting in a lot less borax. The point of putting in a 50-50 weight mix of borax and gold is to clean up the purity of the gold. Sometimes it can be a little more to clean up but you get better results. I’ve been melting my own stuff for well over 25 years. I do not do it professionally I have a small kiln like you do but from doing it from so many years and learning from others. It’s a lot better to clean up that gold. I’ve learned quite a bit in the last couple of years from Jason at Mount Baker mining and metals.
Thanks
I do love me some modern day alchemy! Pawnbroker, Picker/Flipper, Metallurgist..Jack of all trades!
The gold melt was great fun. 👍

So very cool!!!! 👍🏻
Really sweet coin pick up I've never seen those $1 coins before sweet engraving
There is something magical about making bars. I struggle to do it with U.S. coins pre 33, but anything else I don't have much heartache over.
