I’m German, it’s absolutely untrue that one gets buried alive in Germany. In Germany there isn’t even a death penalty at all since 1989 😅

O governo Alemão parou de emitir as licença. Esta igual aqui no Brasil onde onde quem faz é o crime na Alemanha é a mafia. No Brasil eles junta pneus e gasolina e coloca fogo.
But it was a thing in the past. They buried jews alive in mass graves not far from where i live in poland, there were going trucks back and forth with jews. My grandmother was 12 yrs old and she told me this story
In my home country: Poland, there's no such thing as a death penalty since 1997, the toughest penalty here is Life sentence in prison
Burning alive, Buried alive and Quatering are some of the most horrific ones.
None of these are done nowadays.

WAIT WHAT?! In Brazil we have no death penalty! 😡😡😡
Death penalty Would be like to leave football
I live in Brazil and I'm a History teacher. The death penalty for civilians was abolished in 1889. And the method used was the gallows. Currently, the law provides for shooting for treason in the event of war, but this penalty has never been applied. The last execution was in 1876.
Whaaaa
You are right! The author of the video is biased. He (she) mixes those death penalties which exist today in the Muslim countries like stoning and beheading, with the Medieval practices of Europe which were abolished a few centuries ago.
We need more teachers in the comments I don’t believe all of the.
அதுக்கு
The last execution by the law. Nowadays the power of life or death is on Robbers' hands. If you react by a robbery, they kill you with no mercy. And the last government (part of them) treat the robbers as a social victim. And the real victims have no one to make justice for them. The law men says, don't react. So if someone come into your house, don't react.🤡🤡🤡 Today this government turned back in charge. So our hope for making laws tougher is a far dream.
Buried alive . Burned alive . Quartering....

Hanging is showing how old this method 👀

What will you do to a rapist... I think he needs to be punished in such way like burning or burying alive
"This data may not very up to date", this was taken quite literally for the UK and England where the death penalty is no longer legal and hasn't been legal for an extremely long time.
Like in brazil dude. Brazil has no death penalty lmao, i don't know where this guy got that info from.
Also in Britain/England historically the death penalty that would have been used was hanging (not sure if correct - either up to early 1960's or late 1950's), beheading (for nobles/gentry, pre 1800ish), firing squad (pre 1930ish for treason, if I remember correctly), drawn and quartering (usually for treason and pre 1800ish) and burning (pre ?1700). But Britain now has no death penalty not even for treason as that was abolished many years ago also.
As for USA, they should also have included with electrocution (for historical accuracy) gas chamber, hanging, firing squad (which I believe one or two states still had up to 1990, but I maybe incorrect on date).
Same for Germany

In India, Capital punishment is only reserved for the 'Rarest of cases'. The primary method of execution as given under Section 354(5) of the Criminal Code of Procedure, 1973 is "Hanging by the neck until dead". The most recent executions in India took place in March 2020, when the four 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder perpetrators were executed at the Tihar Jail in Delhi.

I am Brazilian, death penalty is only applied for desertion/treachery during a conflict...once the last war Brazil was involved was the WWII (more than 70 years ago), it's unclear how such law would work today if applied, once our last constitutional update was back in 1988, as for everyday crimes, no punishment seems to be the rule #1, crime is a big thing here and criminals have no fear of the punishment they'll get once our crime fighting civilian law is way too mild to deter them from committing crimes, as a result, our everyday lives are mostly based upon "what shouldn't I wear/have" or "where shouldn't I be" as well as a jornalism dominated by crime related news...

To address the situation to all the people out there:
The only official UN Nations where the death penalty is still legal and active, only Japan and the USA have this. In the USA, the electric chair is mandatory, but in Japan, it has been known for guards asking the prisoner for their death, although it is generally hanging. (The USA also executes more than 400% more people on average than Japan per year.)
However, there are still countries where there are executions commanded by the Government secretly, most notably in North Korea and a few african nations.
In the USA, most death penalties are from lethal injection now, but some states offer different methods, like hanging or electric chair..
Quite funny, the country yelling about human rights is among very few having death penalty and actually executing it.

For the record, the last executions in Germany were either hanging of war criminals by the Allies, or firing squad for some soldiers. But under the NAZIS the guillotine was the most used method, and accounted for more deaths than it did during the time of the French Revolution. In Britain, the usual method was hanging, done properly from when the 'long drop' was introduced by Hangman William MARWOOD. This has been continually refined and the last hangman was not PIERPOINT (as many think) but the late Harry ALLEN!
No,the Last man executed in Germany was Werner Siegfried Teske 1981 for beeing a Spy.

@@glennhubbard5008 absolutely not. Burying alive was a medieval practice, in the low countries in general, and only for certain offences.
