I like Risen, I don't like playing it on the Series X though, the increased frame rate makes the camera turn quicker. making the game very hard to play. So I play it on 360.
Definitely agree with you on the over sensitive camera. From my understanding, it had that issue all the way back at launch. At least the PC version did. The ps4 remaster completely fixes most of the issues the 360 version had.

do beware 'knights contract', game is decent enough but if i remember correctly, during a boss battle, if you fail the QTE, the boss doesn't get a slither or chunk of health recovery, they get the entire full 100% health recovery everytime you fail a QTE, that was a deal breaker for me

I'm a PlayStation collector but I also collect for Xbox 360. Dead Island is one of my favorites. I have it on 360 and ps4. I've played through both versions. I also got Dead Island 2 on ps5 but have not played it yet. I bought most of my ps3/360 games from World of Books in the UK because they are super cheap there. Im American but i don't mind playing PAL versions of games. I can't actually tell the difference. Never Dead is on my list now. I heard of it but never really considered buying it. Thanks so much! I really appreciate the support. Yeah, Never Dead is a lost title that's actually good. If a bit rough around the edges, however, there's nothing quite like and the damage system is pretty cool.

You know nothing John Snow lol 😀... Risen 360 native resolution is 640x480 VGA and if you have an old CRT PC monitor & VGA lead your find Risen 360 looks even better than the remastered versions on Switch, Xbox & PS. lol. If you don't have an old PC monitor, minimum rez HDMI or LCD VGA go 1280*1024 (4:3 ratio) as that is as close as you can get to doubling up the original pixel size. Any thing else like 720p or 1080p and Risen suffers from really bad pixel overlapping and why it looks muddy at these resolutions. The same is also true of Risen 2, as for Risen 3 on 360 it's native rez is 480p wide-screen, very few screens out there support this natively, the last high end Toshiba 32&36inch CRT models support it and it looks superb.

Nice, I just got Zone of the Enders HD recently. From what I've read about it, the developers botched the port of the second game in the collection, which results in pretty bad framerate drops and general performance issues. An update was put out to solve the issue--but only for the PS3. The update never arrived for the 360.
So ZotE is probably best for only the first game in it, and then it might be worth getting the second one on PS2. But maybe it performs better than what people say--gotta play it to find out.
I appreciate the heads-up on that. It's probably why the PS3 Version is more expensive. Thanks for watching my dude

Max Payne 3 really Good game I have it on PS3
Funnily enough when I tried Dead Island 1 the first couple of times couldn't get into it but 3rd time I really enjoyed it such a Fantastic game Dead Island Riptide pretty Good game from what I have played off it soo far

Thanks for checking out the video as always, Philip. I think DI:Riptide is a vast improvement over the first game. Yeah, the Dead Island are not exactly super accessible. They have some unique systems when it concerns mastering the combat, and they have their fair share of rough edges, too.

I thought i was the only one who liked that two worlds game on 360. I remember years ago i picked up the collectors edition of it at gamestation for £10 and the guy said have seen the reviews of this? I said no. He was like trust me this game is terrible and i didnt buy it. Years later i picked it for cheap and loved it. I got every achievement for it. I wish i hadn't listened to that guy. Ride to hell retribution is another one. The guy at game said are you sure you want buy this? The reviews are terrible. I bought the game without hesitation.
The thing is, a lot of people will just take the reviews and not try a game out. Most people that say "oh don't buy it" haven't played it. I always like to give a fair shake because what doesn't work for someone can work for someone else. That's why I love video games. There's absolutely something for everyone, regardless of good or bad reviews.

Remember when no one liked Xbox
I don't think Xbox has met the heights of the 360 gen. The Xbox One was a complete dud, and nowadays, they've only got Microsoft's billions and gamepass keeping them going. They've bought up a bunch of studios that they've barely done anything with, and now they have closed a bunch.
I think Xbox is have an identity crisis that they're struggling to crawl out of. Do they want to be an all-in-one games service or a video game console manufacturer. It's like they're flip-flopping.
It's a shame because they have some awesome franchises they could utilise.
