I understand where you are coming from. But there are Pure Tamizh girls who are fairer than dusky complexion for example recently wedded Kanika (poet Snehan’s Wife). I feel that there can be no single skin colour that is representative of the entire Tamizh culture but I certainly agree that we can have more diversity; include dusky, medium, wheatish fair to very fair etc.

What I meant in my earlier comment is that pure Tamizh people can be very fair, wheatish medium fair, brown, dusky brown-deep chocolate brown. We come in different shades and there is beauty in every shade. This advertisement could have used women of different shades and I am a big believer of that. What I do not believe is that there is one single skin colour to represent the entire state.
