    Part 12: • Vanilla Ice: Escobar C...
Part 14: • Vanilla Ice on If He's...
    --------
Vanilla Ice reflects on his journey from high school dropout to successful real-estate mogul and budding restauranteur. Switching gears from his music career, he dedicated himself to self-education, learning real estate through books, and even buying the Carlton Sheath course in the nineties. He designed and rebuilt his own home demolished by a category five hurricane and subsequently earned a degree in design. As a certified builder contractor with over 31 years of experience, he encourages individuals to enjoy life rather than stress over it. Reflecting on this philosophy, the rapper announced his latest venture, the Vanilla Ice Brewery in Lake Worth, Florida, set to open with seven celebrity-named beers. He closes the conversation reminiscing about recently deceased rapper Coolio, a friend he held close.

@@Geraldo-ro9rc ice and Mc hammer weren’t really my thing… From a person that listened to Rakim, K G Rap, KRS One, and the likes, it’s difficult to go from that to listening to someone like hammer and vanilla ice. This man is speaking some facts! People good in business jump out at you, while everyone else is sleep walking while dragging their club in to work. So many are worried about the image of something instead of the something. Slow down is right; as so many want instant gratification and can’t handle a chainsaw and are too lazy and/or prideful to swing a steady axe.

Wake up at 5:30am, work out, get the kids ready, put in the work. And along the way, don't forget to have some fun. Don't forget to treat yourself to something nice every now and again, because you are just as important as everyone else that's hustling.

"Only one hit song" is a bit of a stretch... his music was immediately being played in radio stations that NEVER played and never again played rap hip hop music unless it was the Run DMC Aerosmith cross over or Eminem music during the 90s.
From a hit single he immediately went to filling arenas as opposed to clubs and he was offered film soundtrack opportunities as well as a Hollywood film which could have turned into multiple films had he managed to stay hot so it's not just "one hit song" cause many other artists also had one hit song but they were never offered the same opportunities.

During his metal days, some straight edgers I knew beat up VI at the Tower Theater in SLC. I thought it was funny at the time. VI seems like a good dude and I wish that didn’t happen now.
Funny thing is that he came back to Utah a few years later with MC Hammer and played an insanely huge sold out show.
