This looks awesome!! Can't wait to play as Mortis vs Glacier...sucks it's only Dvon and not Bubba because Dudley boys is one of my favorite tag teams but Jim Duggan etc makes up for it.

Yeah looking forward to this and The Wrestling Code. This looks like what I wanted Fight Forever to be...they kept boasting about the No Mercy influences and it's just its own thing. Not a bad thing, but not the game I wanted either. Really hope this delivers.
The Wrestling Code seems like all empty promises with nothing to show for it. The lead developer of this is incredibly interactive. This game wasn't even announced that long ago, and look at what they have to show for it...
AEW-FF has THE ENGINE. The in-ring stuff is there, but it's so bare-bones for 2023 that it's insane. Only 4 players in the ring at the same time in 2023?!? NO STEEL CAGE?!? No multi-wrestler Ladder Match?!? It's looking like the promise of GTA V style updating is up in the air as well
I hope we're not limited to 4 wrestlers in ring at a time. It was an understandable limitation at the N64 time but we really need at least 6, maybe even 8, to enjoy the carnage of a Royal Rumble, tag TLC or Elimination Chamber match type. Royal Rumble especially just doesn't feel right with only 4 wrestlers in ring at a time. Also, would love to see an ever present referee and, of course, ref bumps.

The mistakes they all made with the AKI engine beyond the N64 iterations (perfection) was making the games too frenetic. The whole tactical and strategic part of those titles, was the pacing.
