Madam ...in previous problem you have taken adjustments in statement of affairs but not in statement of profit.But in this problem you have taken the adjustments in statement of profit...kindly explain why the adjustments are not taken in statement of profit in previous video

mam i dint understand one thing, the motor car was brought on 7 of the year 2020, so the depriciation should be calculated from the date it was brought to till the end of the year right? why did u calculate from 1-1-20 to 1-7-20 (which is 6 months) instead of calculating from 1-7-20 to 31-12-20 (which is 5 months)?

Mam in this problem motor car depreciation -10% but u taken 5% 20000*5%=1000
Depreciation will be calculated from the date of purchase to date of preparing financial statement. It is specified in the bracket that the date of purchase is July 1. Hence, we only calculate for 6 months, not 1 year. 20000*10%*1/2
