      The lead piece they found is called a whizzer. Used in colonial times as toy for kids. String would go through the two round holes. Holes are off center on purpose.

      @@Khumry That's amazing...I trust my spiritual guidance above anything else, but I am never given the whole story immediately...it's as though one has to work to reap the fruits of solving such mysteries. It was always in my spirit that Celts and Vikings had been to America long before Columbus...THEN, I found a book. It described how one of the Vikings from Greenland, who had been living in what was perhaps Novia Scotia, or Newfoundland, who then hunted in the interior of what was Turtle Island for better furs. He was caught by the Crow, who were going to kill him by burning him at the stake, but his Cross fell to the ground and was so hot it freaked the natives...who released the Viking. He remained with them for many yrs, learning their ways and language...then, they accompanied him to other tribes...so he could spread his wisdom, for he had spiritual guidance...and he knew of Christ, the Holy Spirit...and of the 'gods', who are the elementals who serve God. The story goes through the ages, describing how the northern natives developed spiritually...so much so, they had a constant stream of mediums, who warned of the coming of many white men...which would lead to their demise...if they allowed full contact with them, let them have their lands, drank their fire water, and interbred, and bought their goods. During the many stories...which must have been mostly based around the centuries of 1100 to 1500...from time to time, white men and women came to them...often priests of the light...with red hair and fair complexion...and this was before the colonisation of the continent! Later, it sounded as though a few hundred whites came...and a white from the main settlement of the Arikara...which was the epicentre for all spiritual and trading acitiviities...was asked to go and guide them move to a better strip of land. Further groups came though...and the rest is history. Recently, my guidance also told me that some of the Knights Templer went there, and I have just bought a few books on this subject. Now you have given more leads for me to pursue. I am hoping to link a no of tales, based upon truth, going back to Atlantis...then onto Sumeria, and a land called Isra (open sesame came from this land and people)...then moving onto the Celts, the Vikings, the natives...and back to the UK...for I was in the Miner's Strike. I have found common threads...between all these cultures, and I wish to expose the truth...before we enter WW3 and the last part of the Final Judgment...which is almost upon us. I shall add your clues to my research list...and one day, hopefully make all the links...based on truth, albeit through intuition and guidance! Thank you!

    A staple for redirecting rope isn't going to have square edges. It would be rounded so as not to cut and fray the rope. It could be used to hang a pulley hook working at right angles to its insertion point. Noting the bend at the sharp ends it likely got pulled out anyway.

      @remb9614 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No you’re right, but a pulley hooked to a staple would pull right out unless it was meant to fail for some reason they wouldn’t have used this. They would have drilled a hole through the post with an eye bolt or wrapped rope around a post to anchor a pulley. This staple would be used to anchor rope for a walkway or for fencing of some sort. It could also be used for a latch or something else that would be low strain. Staples like these have always sucked for high strain pulling outwards. They were plentiful because they were easy to make but they can’t hold much weight. It’s just a bent nail to hold something down. I’m a historian focused on ships from the 15-1700s

      Good observation. I always note tree age when considering property history.
      I wonder if because people have been digging for 200 years, combined with regular land use and environmental factors, it’s just that

    This is the only show I know that goes for 20 odd episodes a season. You only get 10 15 mins max of new footage (most of that is standing at a table looking at cores of mud)
    And the rest is just going on about previous stuff we've seen. They can't mention phipps without a 10 min description of his life and this is guaranteed every episode!
    At the end of the show they give a coming up next time section. This really is the best you can expect from the next episode and normally turns out to be no where near a s interesting as they have made it out to be.
    Out of 20 episodes you will at max see 1.5 hours of new stuff the rest is filler

    The island lots were sold and farmed so farmers would fill low spots with rocks then cover with dirt. Farmers don’t like rocks or holes so the rocks go in holes if you ask a farmer.

      @@Christina-mx1nr one man ? They generally make piles here and there they occasionally build other things. Most field stones are round and not great for building. They just shift them to the property line or fill a hole or make manny small piles and sometimes make French drains in their fields. Maybe there is record of what Samuel did there.
